Happy Birthday Mayor V!

Today is Mayor Villaraigosa's 53rd birthday. Nothing on the schedule for today, heck, even the Mayor deserves to take his birthday off!

Asleep at the switch
Here's a phone number that we would like the staff of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to have: (213) 217-4006. That's the line to Gary Kishner, a spokesman for Washington Mutual.
Although Villaraigosa's business staff claimed to have a handle on the 1,000 jobs that Washington Mutual is cutting at its Chatsworth call center and moving to Texas and Costa Rica, no one seemed to have picked up the phone and tried to stave off this job flight.

Nearly seven months in office is ample time for Villaraigosa and his team to get a handle on what's going on in Los Angeles and make a genuine effort to keep a major employer from joining the massive exodus from the city - even if those jobs are in the long-neglected San Fernando Valley.

Bungling like this adds to growing suspicions that the Villaraigosa administration is all showmanship and no action.

Don't take a day off please, until you figure out how to clean up the diesel pollution which is literally killing people in the harbor area.

Please talk to Dr. Mack of the USC Keck School of Medicine about his latest research regarding diesel pollution and cancer.

Antonio stand in the way of a financial institution making more money? Yeah, like maybe he's going to nail Ameriquest's balls to the wall because they only let him use their private jet on occasion. Antonio doesn't believe the shit he talks about. He's working under the cynical supposition that all voters are as dumb as the 18 year girls he likes to screw around with. Our only chance for salavation in L.A. is to start a "draft Tony for Governor" campaign, and get his ass out of here by the end of this year. I know this is selfish because then he will bring his unscrupulous graft machine to the state house, but at this point we at L.A. have to save ourselves. Hell, he's got the makings of another California recall in him if we can but get him to Sacramento.

Happy Birthday, Antonio.

Just ignore the Pacheconiks from CD 14 and enjoy your day.

You've earned it, and they've earned what they have (n't got) as well.

Again why do those idiot Antonio lovers always always state to anyone who posts negatives on our little midget, arrogant, do nothing mayor that they are either Hahn or Pacheco people. Grow up and mature there are a lot of people throughout this city who don't support Antonio cause unlike you we're not as ignorant and we look at the record. Oh, and the the record he takes credit for everyone elses' work.

As to 12:19 PM, take warning folks.

They don't care if you live or die, as long as they make their money.
