School Disturbances
Yesterday at 5:00 PM, administrators at South Area High School No. 1, better known as Santee School, met with parents regarding campus disturbances earlier this week.During melee on the campus Wednesday, school police used pepper spray on students, 10 of whom were sent to hospitals for treatment. Another "face-off'' occurred today on the campus involving about 60 students.
The fight was covered in the Daily Breeze yesterday. According to NBC4 TV, a heavy police presence was planned Friday.

This incident was downplayed by the media. The first fight involved more than 100 students and they beat up the school police officers but nothing was said in news. Last night the school officials refused to say it was violence and made it seem it was just a fight between 2 people. C'mon put the facts out there, Latinos and Blacks are knocking heads big time right now at that school.
Roy Romer attended one our Neighborhood Council Meetings & defended snatching people's homes by claiming that the new smaller, uncrowded schools were not going to have the same problems with violence that other schools are having. The students are fighting because of lack of adult supervision, absent administrators, & unexperienced teachers. How can a school be overcrowded if 1/3 of the students don't even bother to attend. The LAUSD is a bloated, rotting corpse of a bureaucracy.
