Power Outages Affect L.A. Area

A major portion of the San Fernando Valley reported outages. Outages in the Valley occurred from Studio City west to Woodland Hills.Several schools are without power. Students are being kept in classrooms.Sporadic outages occurred in downtown Los Angeles and the Koreatown area.Emergency services are operating, according to authorities.Power officials have not said what caused the outages.
