ED NOTE*** -- THERE IS NO NEW SPAM FROM PACHECO

However, we do have any issue regarding the SPAM.

An allegation has been made by an anony-tipster that the photo above on Pacheco's website banner should look familiar to you. It's from a state-funded event where then-Gov Gray Davis signed the bill creating California's Cesar Chavez Holiday on Aug. 18, 2000.

As a courtesy, the state's photographer (paid for by CalTrans), sent photos of the event to all participants, including Pacheco.

These photos are for personal use only and campaign use is prohibited. The original photo would have a sticker on the back stating its "For personal use only. Use in campaign mailers, flyers etc. is prohibited."

Now, there is no way to prove if this is the source photo or that anyone else there could have taken the picture and provided it to Pacheco. I have not been able to confirm it.

However, I just thought I'd give the CD 14 crew a reason to spar, as if they needed anymore, and show you all just how tit-4-tat these two camps are getting.

Sadly Wendy, Tony or Tom La Bonge have never worked with Jose and don't even know what he's about. Some of their staffers have said behind closed doors they are embarrassed that their council members are putting themselves out on a limb because of Antonio. These are the type of idiot council members we have.

Both Candidates are good. Huizar's walk sounds good and I will help at Pachecos too.

Nothing wrong with helping both, do you think they mind?

10 to 1 Cardenas doesn't show up. He didn't show up at the Kickoff and he has hired more Pacheco staff than any other councilmember. He knows Huizar's campaign is tanking and no plitician worth their salt wants to be associated with a losing campaign - especially before thehits start.

Well, what happened at the meeting in Boyle Heights sponsored by ABC 7? No press coverage that I could find. Someone said Cedillo had alot to say, I guess he was there to pass out "Real ID" applications or sign up some voters for 2006...

The ABC 7 Boyle Heights meeting was covered on their news that night. CD14 reps got blasted. ABC mgmt said after the meeting they were surprised the Latino community doesn't support Antonio. Residents gave some great speeches on issues in the area. Interesting not one of them showed up. They sent Michael Caffey from Eagle Rock instead. Where was Lisa Sarno? Jose felt the tension and the fact that the community is not supporting him. Jose would have done better standing on his own like a man instead of constantly touting he was supported by Antonio. That has hurt him big time in the district.

Went to the Eagle Rock event today. Quite a big crowd, aprox 200 people. CM Gruel (?) and CM Cardenas and a Assembly guy from W Hollywood were there for support. A big showing from the local unions. Jose seemed very personable and comfortable with the local crowd. A good showing of local activists and organizations from El Sereno and Boyle Height too. Only two plugs on the AV endorsement, not overly emphasized. Mentioned 13 of 15 CC endorsements. Who are the two hold outs?

The Two hold outs?

Probably Janice Hahn and Jan Perry

Tony (the mayor) should pay attention to his job and stop pressuring city council members to endorse his little boy Jose. I've heard they are all laughing, but Tony wants complete loyality or you're OUT...and that means no $$$$. At the debate in Boyle Heights yesterday Jose pulled a DEAN... scary...wonder when he'll drop out of the race...heard Tony's freaked about the poll...hey, isn't Jose going to release it?

Opps, nobody wants a mama's boy, I mean Tony's boy!
