Where was Jim Hahn?Where was Jim Hahn when he was supposed to show up to a VICA meeting, or when he was supposed to come meet with his new friends, David Hernandez and company (whom he stiffed).
Where was the Mayor on September 11th, 2001 when terrorists attacked our country and Alex Padilla had to lead the city as acting Mayor for several days after?

So YOU'RE justified in going back FOUR years to talk about why Hahn wasn't in town when there was a SNEAK ATTACK on the East Coast (why didn't he know, it's his JOB to know if NEW YORK is GOING TO BE ATTACKED, right?). But if Anti-ADV people want to bring up ADV being out-of-town while his district's homicides climb to the rate of one per week THIS SAME YEAR, that's "old news" -- get some new material!

Yeah, with as many al Qaida members as there are sneaking up across the border disguised as Mexicans these days, you'd think Hahn would have a better arab intelligence network, and could have tipped the White House and Giuliani off to 9/11 on at LEAST 9/10 or even 9/09 (if he'd have JUST stayed in town that week).

Let's look up the last couple GOP platforms, and assume THAT's what ADV stands for (he joined that "Revolution" -- UNLESS you happen to read the VERY, very tiny fine print that said "His name here MAY not mean to supports that... bit it MAY!)
Jim Hahn has been doing his job for four years, and earning his paycheck from the city -- wherever that took him.
He's the only remaining candidate on the ballot that can make that claim.
Period.
Jim often fails to show up where he is expected, and once showed up where he was definitely not expected.

I think everybody knows that Jim Hahn was in Washington DC during 9/11 with all of the mayors around the United States.
To the poster who calls people douches, I have one thing to say. Whenever someone gets desperate, they start name calling. You cannot appear intelligent when you are calling the Mayor AND his entire campaign staff names.

If ADV's "stellar" campaign staff let large contributions through undetected from 20 completely unbelievable sources (secretaries, CSR's, etc.) at one company looking to do business with the city, while they bragged about their fundraising capabilities, just THINK what's next on the assembly line of botched campaign tactics.
Can't ADV, with ALL that money, cut a NEW ad for TV that 95 percent of the viewers haven't seen 95 times already since February? Is this campaigning or socialist indoctrination techniques.

I hope he at least made a contribution to that ex-teacher's retirement fund - he's been on TV more in recent months than Michael Jackson's attorney. Of course making new ads would mean inventing something new to say (some accomplishment, some plans for the future), and THAT's out of the question.

There are no Hahn staffers on this blog. You're delusional if you think ONLY employees admire a candidate who can actually accomplish something now and then. After two years of watching Villaraigosa posture and make crappy little speeches while his district goes down the tubes, Hahn looks better and better every day.
