Where was Jim Hahn?

YawnWe'll have more later, but Jim Hahn failed to show up to yet another MTA Board meeting when the long discussed, long needed Expo Rail Line was approved. Where was Jim Hahn?

Where was Jim Hahn when he was supposed to show up to a VICA meeting, or when he was supposed to come meet with his new friends, David Hernandez and company (whom he stiffed).

Where was the Mayor on September 11th, 2001 when terrorists attacked our country and Alex Padilla had to lead the city as acting Mayor for several days after?

"When 9/11 hit, it just figured that Hahn would be stuck on the East Coast and unable to get home for three days. City Council president Alex Padilla — hardly a more dynamic personality than Hahn — took the lead role in calming the city."
Where was Jim Hahn while the city falls apart? Feel free to post other instances of when the Mayor failed to show up.

And yes, we fully expect you guys to start posting "Where was Tony Villar when he was campaigning for Kerry or was not supposed to run for Mayor. Lets find some new material there, can we?

So YOU'RE justified in going back FOUR years to talk about why Hahn wasn't in town when there was a SNEAK ATTACK on the East Coast (why didn't he know, it's his JOB to know if NEW YORK is GOING TO BE ATTACKED, right?). But if Anti-ADV people want to bring up ADV being out-of-town while his district's homicides climb to the rate of one per week THIS SAME YEAR, that's "old news" -- get some new material!

(Which part of L.A. was under attack during 9/11... I forget!?)

WEAKER by the WEEK!

WHERE THE HELL WAS JIM HAHN during Pearl Harbor, that's what I want to know... damn slacker fetus!

OKAY, you win... I'll vote for ADV is he PROMISES (no really, I mean like a promise he'll keep for once), not to EVER be out of town when an unknown disaster strikes the city without warning.

Get him to swear on a stack of Vignali pardon letters and I'm drinking his kool-aid like the rest of you.

Please explain how the city is "falling apart" compared to 4, 8, 12 years ago.

Then I'll tell you -- in 50, very long posts, how CD14 has gone straight to hell in just two.

Jim, do you really have time to be posting all this?

Yeah, with as many al Qaida members as there are sneaking up across the border disguised as Mexicans these days, you'd think Hahn would have a better arab intelligence network, and could have tipped the White House and Giuliani off to 9/11 on at LEAST 9/10 or even 9/09 (if he'd have JUST stayed in town that week).

DAMN!

Oh yeah, but thanks to Special Order 40, LAPD probably can't pull those people in for questioning, anyway.

Never mind...

Names not Jim, Ace, but nice try!

(We know ADV isn't working his own computer, of course. His staff snickers about how he's computer illiterate, all the time).

why is Jim Hahn now anti-gay and anti-Mexican?

Yup, that makes perfect sense -- ADV is a retread 60's radical running on late 20th century accomplishments, and nothing else.

Take him to a supermarket some time, boys and show him those beeping price scanners that got GWH Bush all jazzed, too.

WHY WAS VILLARAIGOSA a member of the "Republican Revolution" two years ago against Pacheco!?

May 02, 2005 1:00 PM

Anonymous Anonymous said:

What exactly was the Reagan/Republican Revolution, anyway, that ADV supported in order to win in CD14...

Let's look up the last couple GOP platforms, and assume THAT's what ADV stands for (he joined that "Revolution" -- UNLESS you happen to read the VERY, very tiny fine print that said "His name here MAY not mean to supports that... bit it MAY!)

Jim Hahn has been doing his job for four years, and earning his paycheck from the city -- wherever that took him.

He's the only remaining candidate on the ballot that can make that claim.

Period.

Jim often fails to show up where he is expected, and once showed up where he was definitely not expected.

Marriage over.

End of story!

I rest my case!

Ha!

Jim Hahn is a douche. Let's face facts. I find it hilarious the white republicans are lining up to support this turd just because of his skin color, and because they don't like mexicans.

jim hahn supports illegal aliens getting licenses, he support billingual education, and he's as pro "mexican" as tony V.

you republicans are so stupid to support a corrupt democrat. or that douche walter moore who hurt hertzberg.

douches. all of you. shame.

keep bloggin mayor sam. tony v is not perfect but at least he's not a walking talking douche like hahn is.

and hahn's campaign team should be ashamed of themselves. losers.

Misery loves company and no better example then all the ADV lovers. Parker I hope you're getting paid from Ace and Parke, MEAT for the spinning you guys are desperately trying to distract the real issues.

Antonio has been missing in action for 2 yearsin CD14. I think you guys should be spending your time figuring out how to answer the next negative story to hit the media soon of how corrupt Antonio is. Don't give those lame ass answers to the media you did last week. This one will be A BIG ONE.

I think everybody knows that Jim Hahn was in Washington DC during 9/11 with all of the mayors around the United States.

To the poster who calls people douches, I have one thing to say. Whenever someone gets desperate, they start name calling. You cannot appear intelligent when you are calling the Mayor AND his entire campaign staff names.

Plus your grammar sucks.

If ADV's "stellar" campaign staff let large contributions through undetected from 20 completely unbelievable sources (secretaries, CSR's, etc.) at one company looking to do business with the city, while they bragged about their fundraising capabilities, just THINK what's next on the assembly line of botched campaign tactics.

Can't ADV, with ALL that money, cut a NEW ad for TV that 95 percent of the viewers haven't seen 95 times already since February? Is this campaigning or socialist indoctrination techniques.

Pry my weary eyes open, it's "A Clockwork Orang-U-gonna-vote-4-Tony?"

I hope he at least made a contribution to that ex-teacher's retirement fund - he's been on TV more in recent months than Michael Jackson's attorney. Of course making new ads would mean inventing something new to say (some accomplishment, some plans for the future), and THAT's out of the question.

UNLESS, Chief Parker's located ANOTHER 80 invisible neighborhood watches... maybe there's one organization for every household by now?

Wow,

If all you Hahn staffers spent more time working on City problems instead of posting on blogs, maybe we would be more motivated to vote for your boss.

There are no Hahn staffers on this blog. You're delusional if you think ONLY employees admire a candidate who can actually accomplish something now and then. After two years of watching Villaraigosa posture and make crappy little speeches while his district goes down the tubes, Hahn looks better and better every day.
