People have posted on Antonio's blog telling them to put their resumes in using his online application, but I guess to each their own.

Those morons are not going to be commissioners anyway.

Also, the instructions say to limit your statement to 300 characters.

Some folks who cannot read do not do so and the site rejects the filing and erases all the data, causing the sender to have to redo the application.

Amusing, no?

Eliseo, maybe they could put you in chage of recall petitions?

2:52. That's a good idea. Tell Bob Hertzberg. He will appreciate it.

The first order of business should be: How do we keep Antonio focused on LA?

Put a cantalope and a flashlight in front of Danny Bakewell and John Mack so they understand they need to move on. Give a domestic violence brochure to Paul Kim. He likes beating up women. Tell Magic Johnson that $100 mil development deal he got from the city for his condos in downtown LA won't come around again under Antonio. He'll be giving those deals to his pal Hornacio Vignali, biggest developer in downtown LA.

Being a member of ADV's "transition" team is not a temporary position, you understand... just like being his campaign manger. Only the next target changes.

Job Description for Members of Transition Team:

1. Attend meeting and eat doughnuts and drink coffee.

2. Listen to Hertzberg bloviate for fifteen minutes, then introduce Mayor Elect Villaraigosa.

3. Listen to pep talk from Mayor Elect.

4. Be asked to find people who have never done anything in their lives and thus have no skeletons in their closets, and can be counted upon to never do anything, but are highly qualified.

5. Make sure they understand about the oath.

6. Pose for politically correct ethnic, sex and gender photos.

7. Say goodbye and br asked to send in names and descriptions or candidates.

Thereafter, Robon Kramer and Antonio Villaraigosa will figure it all out. A few others will have input. There is an outside chance that Hertzberg might even have a little input, but doubtful. Depends on the level of threats he delivers.

Welcome to Transition 2005.

I'd like top hear everyone's comments for biggest morons on AV's transition team. Like, who deserves the LEAST to be there. Who is most likely to embarass Antonio, etc.

This transition team is a joke. Everyone knows none of them will have any power or make any hiring decisions. They will simply cause a lot of hopeful people to waste time sending them resumes that will go into the trash can. To the previous poster's question about who the biggest embarassment is? Well, I'd have to start with Danny Bakewell...he's the Al Sharpton of the West Coast...

Danny Bakewell, John Mack, biggest racists in South LA. They come out when there's cameras to blas LAPD and threaten to burn down the city. Yup, these are great representatives for the city. LAPD hates these morons and are cringing just knowing ADV will be listening to them cause he owes the blacks for their votes. Thank god Hahn had the guts not to listen to them.

You guys are rank amateurs.

The biggest embarrassment and the most likely to cause Mayor-elect Villaraigosa the most aggravation is the Chairman of the Transition Team himself, none other than Bobzilla!

The man is an unguided missile and so hungry for power and redemption that he is capable of doing just about anything.

Add in an unhappy lady at home and watch out.

The only saving grace is that Antonio has been there; done that.

He has seen what Hertzberg can be, up close and personal, and he will be cautious.

He owed him this Chair spot as part of the endorsement, but don't look for Bob to play as large a part as he will tell us he does.

Look instead at what Antonio does.

All is never what it seems.

God I love politics.

I wish I wasn't dead. I'd be applying myself for the Planning Commission. Naw, maybe as head of City Planning.

But, I am dead, so someone else will have to have the fun.

Place your bets on Nick and Ari, Robin also.

You would think ADV had more sense to select people who are smart, successful, have accomplished records. Seems this group are just a bunch of campaign givers, special interests, and family and friends. Great way to start your administration!
