New Hahn Blog Part III

The third effort to set up another "competing" blog to Mayor Sam to get out whatever news about Mayor Hahn and Tony Villar that they think we are supposedly not getting out there "out there" is now underway. The previous two blogs failed to catch attention, so here is another.

I don't know if its really paid for by the Hahn campaign, but who otherwise would have the time to do all the cutting and pasting. Lets see if this one works. Remember, guys - if this blog doesn't work for the Mayor, you only got four days left to set up another one.

Hi Mayor,

We have a new website: www.antoniocheck.com

The site will be stocked with compelling visual evidence of Councilmember Villaraigosa's wrong choices on public safety and education issues. We hope you find the site informative.

Sincerely,
Hahn for Mayor 2005

Late, late late again. Bring a note from mommy next time, Mayor Sam. People have been posting this in the comments for AGES now (at least a day or so).

You're obviously not a newspaper, but your could at least try to keep up a bit better. Maybe hire and intern with all that Tony V. blog ad money.

Now THAT's a blog that's got and endless supply of material.

I hear ADV's people tried to put together a "thingsIveaccomplished" blog for little Tony, but they didn't have enough material to fill the first posting.

-- Ran for THIS office (finished nothing)

-- Ran for THAT office (finished nothing)

-- Ran for ANOTHER office (finished nothing)

The optional blog name was going to be:

"VillaraigosaInteruptus"

There should be a new Blog called "The neverending list of Villaraigosa's lies."

What a BS site.

Anyone notice that you can't post comments?

This site explains why we didn't get the stem cell research center. ITS TOO LATE!

This should have done this months ago.

Hahn's people are idiots.

THIS IS NOT POSTED BY A "HAHNISTA"

I've dealt with the mayor's staff AND CD14 field staffers.

CD14 staffers make Hahn's "people" look like the entire membership of the Greater L.A. MENSA organization, in comparison.

But then, I'm one of the "lucky" CD14 residents... I have "connections" (ADV contributors who think I'm "one" of them). MOST CD14 people couldn't get the time of DAY from ADV's field staff if the close was on their desk and they were BORED!

THIS WAS NOT POSTED BY A "HAHNISTA"

This, neither... because:

Antonio Villaraigosa is a pathological liar who can't be trusted to do anything he says he'll do.

Someone prove me wrong, running out of time, only 5 days remaining in this opportunity.

Mayor Sam, I can assure you the new blog is not being paid by the Hahn campaign. Word is cash is REALLY short over there. Heck, Carrick will be lucky to get all what he is owed..not that any one is sorry for him

It's me Antonio Villaraigosa's split personality running the other site. You see I am a man of many faces. I am so confused I am even against myself. Don't vote for me, I sleep with the staff, steal from kids, cheat on my wife constantly, sleep around and do nothing all day. Vote for the other guy instead.

Yours truly,
Mr. Antonio Hypocrite Villaraigosa.

If I was handling the Hahn campaign I would make the following commercial with these scenes:

Scene 1: Very hardcore looking, multiple tattooed gang members harassing a family in the park. The police show up to try and do something to protect the family only to be stopped by AV who shows up in time to protect the gang members.

Scene 2: A sleazy, unshaven old man is observing some kids playing on the swings in the park. He pulls out a handful of candy and heads over to the kids. Next you see him walking away holding a little girls hand as she licks a candy sucker. A close up of the man's shirt reveals a button that reads "Vote For Antonio V. for mayor".

Scene 3: Group of L.A.P.D. uniformed officers are with Antonio shooting an endorsement commercial. The director yells, cut! That's a wrap! As the officers walk away the camera zooms in on the back of the officers collars to reveal "Acme Costume Rentals" as these are not real L.A.P.D. officers but non-union actors.
Cut to Mayor Hahn shooting his commercial with the real L.A.P.D. officers endorsing him.

These three commercial scenes will have a tremendous impact. The commercials about Antonio taking Miami money are burnt out and nobody cares anymore. The voters know ALL politicians take questionable campaign contributions and only give it back when they are caught like AV just did. I suggest the Hahn campaign concentrate on getting some new
hard hitting commercials that will resonate with the
undecideds otherwise he and all on his staff are going to be looking for work come next Wednesday morning.

Back to the subject of this thread...

You know, it *would* be nice for the Hahn campaign to have a blog. That's quite a blog they have at www.jimhahn.com, eh?

The Villaraigosa folks are raising money for T.V. and mail, and are walking precincts and knocking on doors.

The campaign is well funded and the ads are rolling out every day and countering every meager little 15 second thing that Hahn can muster.

Money is short at the Hahn campaign because everyone smells the odor of a maor loss. Having to raise money at a maximum of $1,000 a person limits the effects of a wealthy person riding to the rescue.

Independent Expenditures ("I.E.'s")while helpful, are not nearly as effective as a coordinated attack that is sustained and timed.

The Field General of Hahn's largest I.E. died this week. While it was sad for all who were close to Miguel, it was disasterous for Hahn.

Hahn's campagin is on life support; behind by double digits in everyone's tracking, short of money and all his cards having been played too early in an attempt to try to match Villaraigosa's prodigious fundraising, Hahn is back to basics. He's running the boxcutter, crackpipe sleaze ads that the public has been looking for as a sign that his back is up against the wall and he will say or do anything to try to keep his job.

But Carrick has sucked up all the oxygen from this campaign. His high salary and percentages of everything have taken a well funded campaign and broken it.

Dissention reigns in the Hahn offices and staffers are pointing fingers at each other while quietly searching for their next job and circulating their resumes to those who might be able to help them.

A new day is dawning in Los Angeles; the sluggish economy is about to receive a boost from an energetic, well conected Antonio Villaraigosa, who is ready to move into the third floor offices on July 1 and get this city moving once again.

The four lackluster years of dull Jim are almost over and everyone involved in the campaign, on both sides, knows it.

The King is dead; long live the King.
