Way to go Cindy!!!
one more nail in Apad's coffin.

I'd hate to be him, losing every club, org, association. I even heard that the League of Cities was thinking of going with Cindy..........j/k, no i'm not.

All this and the dirt hasn't even hit yet. Apad is going down in flames

Apad didnt even have the balls to show up, i guess hearing all the lack of support for him on the phone while he was making his calls must have made him think twice.

just drop out of the race boy.

Abbe Land almost scored a "no endorsement" over Mike Feuer but he got the endorsement by 4 votes.

"Almost?" Feuer got 66% of the vote! That's a blowout.

Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Sorry Daniel

Mike got 66% and he needed 60%. Daniel knew that Abbe wasn't going to get 60% so he was shooting for 40% to block Mike's endorsement. He thought he had the votes but some of his people changed at the last minute.

Little do you guys know, Alex has a smoking gun. Parke doesn't know all of Cindy's history. He especially doesn't know about the circumstances, moves and deals surrounding Cindy's sister's election to the San Fernando City Council. Can you say South Gate?

Hey, since parke is doing cindy's campaign, will he have enough time to do that and go before a grand jury?

Parke picked Daniel Tamm for this specific purpose: to block the DP/SFV endorsement.

They failed.

Let's face it... Daniel isn't an effective organizer, which was why he was demoted by the Alliance during the special election. He's been shooting blanks all along -- Parke just didn't know it.

Nice try, but Daniel doesn't really hold much sway with Valley Dems.

Parke should have known that.

Score this one for Larry Levine.

Daniel didn't expect that the old guard in DP/SFV has been behind Mike for a very long time and he wasn't going to change their votes, and a lot of the new DP/SFV blood likes Mike too. Abbe ended up with fewer votes than Daniel expected going into the meeting an hour earlier and that can't be good. I think some people told Abbe and Daniel that they were supporting her just so they could be left alone.

Whoever is bashing Daniel Tamm on this page needs to cool it. Daniel is a good man, and he put forth an honorable effort last night at DP/SFV. In the end DP/SFV endorsed Mike but remains friendly with Abbe; let's leave it at that. Attacking Daniel anonymously in this forum is extremely bad form.

Ok, so much for smart bloggers, Anit-Semite!!! anyone who is semite is a decendant of ancient people of the region, not necessarily Jewish.
"...The concept of a "Semitic" peoples is derived from Biblical accounts of the origins of the cultures known to the ancient Hebrews. Those closest to them in culture and language were generally deemed to be descended from their forefather Shem. Enemies were often said to be descendants of his cursed brother Ham. In Genesis 10:21-31 Shem is described as the father of Aram, Asshur, and others: the Biblical ancestors of the Aramaeans, Assyrians, Babylonians, Chaldeans, Sabaeans, and Hebrews, etc., all of whose languages are closely related; the language family containing them was therefore named Semitic by linguists. However, the Canaanites and Amorites also spoke a language belonging to this family, and are therefore also termed Semitic in linguistics despite being described in Genesis as sons of Ham (See Sons of Noah). Shem is also described in Genesis as the father of the Elamites and the descendants of Lud, whose languages were not Semitic." (Wikipeadia)
So which is it o wise oracle?

Strangely enough Alex Padilla is one of the few candidates in California to qualify for the ballot by gathering enough signatures in the District to not have to pay the filing fee. I guess that means nothing when all these posts say he sucks.

It just means that he had his staff out during city time collecting signitures. Shit, just because soemone signs to PLACE someone on the ballot does not mean they SUPPORT let alone will vote for them. But, good job anyways maybe it will get you at least a few votes.

How Jewish is that Jewish developer? His Mexican mother was knocked up by a Jew and then abandoned. Later that father came back and gave his bastard child some crumbs of his multi-million dollar construction operations - most likely to get the Feds off of him. And now he is a born again Jew, how convenient.
