Former Our Lady of Gradalupe Church "Youth Ministry/Confirmation Director" Michelle Corzantes and Husband Joshua "PJ" Corzantes.
The Duo of Cesar Chavez Elementary Principal Heidi Acosta-Monteo, along with the alleged "Couple of Faith" Michelle and Joshua "PJ" Corzantes, first made themselves know to LA-32 NC Members at a January 14, 2014 Meeting of the NC's Budget & Finance Committee. As noted in a previous Mayor Sam Post, the three were in attendance to support the efforts of the El Sereno Bicentennial Committee in securing $5,000 in Public Funds for its annual Parade, while also stating their intentions to seek NC funding in the future.
Michelle Corzantes is the Register Agent of the alleged "For Profit Corporation, Friends of Cesar Chavez Elementary".
The intentions to seek funding support for self, errr, school projects, prompted Ms. Corzantes and others to depose of the establish PTA and replace it with the "Friends of Cesar Chavez Elementary" with her as its designated Agent. But in order to further move forward in their quest to secure funding, Corzantes and allies, including CD 14 staff, created a slate of candidates that gain control of the LA-32 NC with Corzantes becoming the board;s Treasurer.Thus, in getting elected with the support of Councilman Huizar, the "Friends of Cesar Chavez Elementary" became the newest LA-32 Connected Non-Profit that could seek fiscal largess from Huizar.
Maybe "For Profit Corporations" are allowed to use their respective Social Media Websites for Political Campaigning, unlike 501-C3 Non-Profits?
As LA Weekly Reporter Patrick Range McDonald noted in his lauded missive on the $300,000 City Council, Councilman Huizar uses his Slush Funds to benefit those who are loyal to him. Huizar spent his $100,000 gift card as if he were creating support in anticipation of a run for an Eastside congressional seat — a job the largely unknown councilman is known to lust after. Huizar sent $15,000 to Arte Calidad Cultural Institute; $4,306, $3,500, $500, and $1,860 to the Barrio Action Youth & Family Center; $5,000 to the Center for Education and Immigration Services; $5,000 to the El Sereno Bicentennial Committee, and $3,780 to Roosevelt High School cheerleaders. Maybe that is why when discerning community members ask questions how those funds are spent, some resort to harsh tactics in attempting to silence inquiring citizens as evident below? Thus, Cesar Chavez Elementary Principal Heidi Acosta-Monteo must ask herself whether her reputation as an educator, is worth soiling by associating with those who are laden with ethical and fiscal baggage?

Joshua is the director of youth ministries and confirmation at all saints catholic church in el sereno. He is a candidate for master catechism for the archdiocese of los angeles. Joshua works with the developmentally Disorders and behavioral disorders. And has children with same disorders. He should be reported to his employer Of the remarks on Scott. Is he violating HEPA laws. They have no place representing the neighborhood council with such activities and remarks towards stakeholders. LA32 should be disbanded or some members should resign or be terminated from office. I don't even know Scott, but I don't like the remarks, as well as the KKK McGuire insinuations.
