Notes on the March Elections Scorecard

Noting the Winners and Losers on Election Night, March 5, 2013
Jack Humphreville-The Big Winner yesterday for his solitary stand against the Measure A Sales Tax, which lost 55% to 45%.
With respects to the late, great Herald Examiner, LA Time "Note on the Scorecard" Sports Columnist Allan "Mud' Malamud, we bring you our bloggin notes,, along with the winners and losers in yesterday's sparsely-attended Municipal Elections.The City Clerk reports that 16% of register voters care enough to engage in their civic duty---Scott Johnson.

Winners:
CD 15 City Councilman Joe "Average Joe" Buscaino for winning first full term.
The CD 7 trio of Nicole Chase, Krystee Clark and David Barron for nearly forcing Felipe Fuentes into runoff.
Kevin James and Jan Perry, in placing third and fourth respectively, they become king (or mayoral) makers in May Runoff.
Carmen "Nuch " Trutanich for surviving.
LAUSD School Board Member Steve Zimmer in gaining reelection against big money onslaught for Kate Anderson.
CD 9 Candidate Ana Cubas, loser survives until runoff defeat.
Noel Weiss who is a gentleman candidate.
Eric Garcetti
The Campaign Team of Emanuel Pleitez, all around good group of young men and women.
 Soon to be CD 1 City Councilman Gil Cedillo
CD 1 Candidate Jesse Rojas
CD 5 Mr Potato Head
New CD 11 City Councilman Mike Bonin.
CD 13 Candidate Mitch O'Farrell.

City Clowncil Central Committee Dictator Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson-The Big Loser yesterday as his Measure A sales Tax Hike Proposal crashed and burn at the Ballot Box. Thus, his dictatorship of the Horseshoe may be numbered.

Losers:
The legacy of Mayor Antonio Ramon Villar.
The legacy of CD 1 City Councilman Ed "ADI Money" Reyes, who's political mijo Jose Gardea, barely survives to a runoff.
LAUSD District Two who is forced to endure another four years of Monica "Gorda Boo Boo" Garcia.
LAUSD School Board President Monica "Gorda Boo Boo" Garcia, who's hold on her presidency may become predicated on District 6 Runoff results in May
David "Dragnet" Berger.
Greg Smith's bank account, time for more lawsuits against the city.
LAPD Chief Charlie Beck for his Measure A scare tactics.
Matt Szabo in CD 13. Time for move back towards West Hollywood.
CD 14 Councilman Jose Huizar in May if Cubas loses in CD 9, Cedillo wins in CD 1 and Eric Garcetti is elected Mayor.
IBEW Boss Brian D'Arcy who's million bought just 29% of the vote for the Villar Greuel.
SEIU 721 President Bob Schoonover who will sell out the former rouge soul of SEIU 347 to the Mayor Villar/ Villar Greuel Machine, in supporting its candidate.
UTLA for its weak District Two Campaign
Michael "MEAT" Trujillo and John Choi in CD 13
John Shallman come May.
