Andrea Alarcon remains as President of the Board of Public Works, even after new details emerge in her alleged case of child abandonment following a wild party at City Hall and after, a local hotel.
Joseph Mailander continues to expose the ineffective, expensive and band-aid approach to homelessness. The merit to Mailander's argument - which for sure is one to give some homeless activists, elected officials and others a mild case of indigestion - is that it a common sense approach, that has worked in other countries and comes from a dyed-in-the-wool committed liberal, not Richard Riordan.
Workers at the LA Port are still on strike.
Phil Jennerjahn is apparently still running for Congress.

In 2014, Phil Jennerjahn is going to again run to represent a highly liberal Congressional district. He will lose badly, claim he did great considering the constituency, but declare he is "quitting politics." Six hours later, his ire will rise, and he will announce that he is running on the same platform, for the same liberal district in 2016, thinking that he'll eventually convince them to follow his lead. That definition of insanity holds here.
and in 2014 the Krekorian sinkhole will grow to the size of the state of Delaware, to wit Communications Director Jeremy Oberstein will claim on Facebook that Councilman Krekorian is partnering with the Mountains Conservation and Recreation Authority in creating new recreational open space in the 2nd District.

Jennerjahn, the commenter was apparently basing his comments on your past actions, because that's exactly what you do.
In fact, I like how you parse your words. You won't run "for the congressional district again," but you'll definitely try city council, mayor, assembly, state senate.
As for Orange County, where I live, I guess you don't realize how significantly its demographics have changed since the passing of the Reagan Revolution. Plus, with your hatred of Latinos and abortion, you'll surely lose here, too.
You seem like an okay dude, but you are wildly out of your element. Besides, what would you do for work here in O.C? It's 45 or however old you are a little late to do aspiring things? Isn't it time for you to manage a Rexall Drug or Pavillions?
