The "John and Ken" take on the alleged Raunchy Ranch Behavior of Ramon "Kinko" Cortines

** Blogger's Note: Our posting of the Courthouse News Services story regarding the alleged Raunchy Ranch behavior of former LAUSD Superintendent Ramon "Kinko" Cortines has garner attention on the local Talk Radio airwaves. KFI's "John and Ken" on their Thursday broadcast, gave a dramatic reading of the lurid details of the alleged behavior of the diminutive educator (with backing Larry Flint and Marvin Gaye sound affects). Further, we understand that KABC's Doug McIntyre and John Phillips had some colorful commentary regarding the "Brokeback" antics of Cortines (we will post link to podcast shortly). For those who may want to take issue with our mocking of the behavior of the former top educator at LAUSD, you should note that during the Reign of the supposed Education Reformer, Mayor Antonio Villar (with Monica Garcia's support), two schools of higher learning have been named for a man who died while being "serviced in a card reading establishment" and a former educator who loves to live out his own alleged "Brokeback adventures", respectively---Scott Johnson
KFI's John and Ken give a dramatic reading (the "Kinko Cortines" segment starts at the 12:00 mark) on the alleged Raunchy Ranch exploits of former LAUSD Superintendent Ramon "Kinko" Cortines.
Would you like to come to my ranch for the weekend?
Were there other LAUSD employees who Ramon "Kinko" Cortines lusted over during his tenure as Mayor Antonio Villar's choice to oversee the second largest public school district in the nation?
Was the alleged Raunchy Ranch Behavior of former Superintendent Ramon "Kinko" Cortines a behind the scenes motivation for naming the new LAUSD "Visual and Performing Arts" High School in his honor?

Your thoughts ..............

Don't beat around the bush - pardon the pun - Miguel Contreras died in a whorehouse. But at least the high school named in his honor was given the appropriate mascot, a Cobra - fitting for the snake that he was. What is the Cortines High School mascot, the Packers?

I think a more fitting name for the Cortines High School mascot would be the Handlers, not the Packers. I wonder what the mascot for a Monica Garcia high school would be?

it's up to cortines to pay not lausd or the taxpayer. this is the kind of person that tony v recommends to run schools. this is but one of many questionable choices made by this superintendent.
