Then she called anti-Expo Line activist Damien Goodman her "baby brother in kick-butt activism." Kick butt was right as Goodman was allegedly arrested in May of this year in a domestic violence incident invlolving his live in girlfirend.
Usually Betty likes anyone who opposes City Councilman Bernard Parks with whom she has an unnatural obsession with. Betty didn't like it when we exposed her buddies and her answer was to tell us that she "owns" the Black community. As lame a statement that is at least it's a bit classier than when Ms UN-Pleasant told Phil Jennerjahn I could "kiss her Black ass."
Well Betty has done it again. She shoots off her mouth and it just backfires every time. If she just didn't irrationally hate Bernard Parks so much.
On September 15th Betty was rambling on as usual in her Soulvine "column" in the Los Angeles Wave. Betty was excited to hear that State Senator Roderick Wright is thinking of running for Parks' Council seat in 2011. (Not sure if Betty has forsaken Hogan-Rowles)
On September 16th however Wright, a good friend to the poker industry, was arraigned in Superior Court on eight felony charges following an extensive District Attorney's office investigation.
Betty sure knows how to pick 'em. Maybe she should spend some time at the track.

Damien Goodman has done a great deal of harm to the city and the MTA with their plans to expand the Expo Line to the westside.
Claiming "environmental racism" if the MTA does not adopt above grade crossings at every intersection in South L A, adding millions of unnecessary cost, he has been joined by westside NIMBY fanatics like the Mike Eveloffs/ Jay Handels of Tract 7260 HOA, and of course, by the Opportunistic Clown Carmen during his campaign - to demand the same for the westside.
The Clean Sweepers who also hate the "subway to the sea" and rail, have also clung to his militantly demagogic, race-mongering coattails.
They are soulmates with the Sherman Oaks/ No Ho bunch you deride in latest column, who valiantly fight moving a few thou jobs from Burbank to No Ho/ Universal City.
But WAIT, Higby and this blog CHAMPIONED them for doing the same in WLA, or on La Brea Ave directly across from where We Ho continues to expand its Target/BevMo/Big Box mall like CRAZY while Lucille Saunders' bunch has clung to its dilapidated building, because it was against Jack Weiss. So HOW is this blog any different from Bitter Bettie and her Battle with Bitter Bernie?
So if Betty's got a poor track record in picking her friends, she's not alone. The Teabaggers and NIMBY's intent on continuing to destroy the economy of LA have also found each other in a circle of the circle jerks.
9:43 AM is Jack Weiss - rehashing his "list of enemies".
11:38 is another of the losers who have ensured that LA is broke and cutting vital services while cities all around us are expanding.
West Hollywood is building a huge, beautiful new "state of the art" library at the heart of a new park.
They have just repaved Sunset in preparation for more development.
Which is too much, but they laugh at L A as this city has been stymied by loud NIMBY's into poverty.
Santa Monica is thriving. Because it hypocritically is a job magnet, for rich and poor, while L A just gets stuck with housing the poor. Numerous companies have given up trying to move to WLA/ Century City and taken their revenue to Santa Monica.
Culver City, as well as Burbank and Glendale are growing and keep good services. NIMBYs are even fighting thousands of jobs moving from Burbank to Universal City.
Pathetic. As is the idea that Jack Weiss would be blogging here. "Jack Weiss is no David Berger" to paraphrase that clown's most recent love poem to his Clown in Chief.
Noone cares about either of them, except that they're Republican hacks with Cooley THEIR Clown in Chief and noone who's eyes have opened is laughing. The voter base of these Clowns is of course, the same business and economy-destroying cliques of NIMBYs in HOAs that reflect only a tiny demographic.
