10:00 Kevin James should realize that the David Hernandez numbers that he cited last evening, were flawed. Most of the Independent Expenditures that were credited for Paul Krekorian, were opposition mailers, paid for by IBEW.

CD2 defeats the Antonio Villaraigosa, the IBEW, the PPL, the City Council, and the Controller, Nuch and AEG!

Guys, don't get ahead of yourselves. These are all absentee ballots so far.
If Shallman were a professional, he would be sued for malpractice and thievery. Of course he is not professional, he is just a thug, Greuel`s friend and enabler.
That's at least 60% of the total vote. this one is over -- Essel will close it up some, but just a couple points.
Congrats to Eric H -- this is a victory for superior electoral mechanics.
9:10PM. Wendy was not "mute" in this campaign. She milked it to the hilt. She used the idiot Essel with Shallman as the enabler. What a despicable character. And she was to be our Mayor. NEVER!
So far, Essel's spend is $328 per vote.

Did anyone else read Adeena Bleich's well thought out edoritorial today in the Daily News?
If you remember, John Shallman was also her consultant. So I wonder besides making her points, she was taking a stab at the crappy job Shallman also did on her campaign. Maybe s0ome of these clients will actually sue Shallman
I am hoping Adeena makes another run at public office.
But if you think howe badly Shallman ran Adeena's, Stuart Waldman's, Essels, and Grovemnans campaigns in just the last three years, I hope she will not hire him again.
So, 954 votes came in in 12 precincts and Paul took 544 or 57%.

I wonder how the midget D`Arcy feels now that his uncontrollable ego has been crushed. He should step down having squandered close to $750,000 of his members` dues for a hopeless, unworthy candidate.
Lesson # 1 for future candidates. D`Arcy with all his money, is poison. Lesson # 2. Greuel`s endorsement is the kiss of defeat, because the voters have now found out that she is a ruthless opportunist.
Shallman is counting his money and moving on to the next sucker.
Hope Krekorian does not get comfortable with the establishment, D`Arcy, the corrupt system in City Hall, Maria Elena Durazo, lobbyists and developers. They will all come to mend fences. He should constantly remember, 2011 is around the corner........
Shallman doesn't get sued. He sues. The same year he lost for Barry Groveman, he lost a bunch of other races where his candidate was the favorite, like Claudia Alvarez in the OC. His pollster, Ben Tulchin, even wrote a memo saying Alvarez couldn't lose. But Shallman lost. So he sued his printer (Shallman v. Cenveo West).
He lost that, too.

We thought Walter was out winning all those cases for Clear Channel and too busy for us here.

We heard there was a big one that you tried just waiting for a verdict. How much did you win for your client?
Just looking at some recent election results. In May 2009, Vahedi lost to Koretz by less then a point, recieved twice as many votes as Essel today and spent 1/3 rd of Essel and 2/3rds of Koretz.
P. Kerkorians awesome win and Vahedi's almost win proves that voters, regardless of how much money is spent against them will gravitate to the better candidates.
I wonder if Wendy would admit she knows Essel......

Wonder if Essel had trouble keeping the lid on her relationship with Cindy Starrett. Not the way to win hearts and minds in S-T . . .

Paul we are so happy for you. As a long time resident and business owner in CD2 I'm pleased we will not have to deal with Dale Thrush and Pat Davenport anymore.
What has happened in CD2 can and will happen in other council districts until the 15 councilmembers are representing the people. One down 14 to go.
Our group of PK supporters are very proud of Paul and the way he ran his campaign!
We also look forward to fresh faces in CD2 and are pleased that Pat Davenport and Dale Thrush will finally be sent packing.
Good riddance Dale Thrush. Bye Pat. It's time to retire and spend time with the Grandkids!
Dale Thrush stepped over the line by trying to strong arm locals in to voting for Essel.
Pat did NOT use disgusting tactics but was a bit too active and outspoken for a paid employee of the Council District.
