A member of the audience asked, "PZ, you say you're the candidate fighting against the downtown political machine but isn't it true that you've hired the Mayor's re-election campaign manager and the Mayor's political consultant?" Paul was shocked and there were audible gasps from the audience.
Bullshit.
So are you saying that Paul K., (not Z) hired Ace Smith? Or Parke Skelton?
State what you really mean to say. I didn't hear anyone else say there were audible gasps. Which makes me think you're on the anybody but Paul side in this run.
Are you saying that the mayor is endorsing Paul? If so, people have now guessed that he's endorsing Tamar, Chris and Paul. Now call me a skeptic, but until I hear who he is endorsing, I think you're full of shit. Or straight up lying.
Which one is it?
The Mayor will only endorse the candidate he wants to lose. He already knows his favorable rating in this district is 5%. So he'll do nothing.
The only thing you can do is take the fact that the crew that helped run the Mayor's re-election campaign is running Paul's campaign as evidence.
If he was backing Chris he wouldn't have allowed John Shallman, ran Nuch's campaign, to run Chris' campaign.
And if he was backing Tamar she wouldn't be struggling to raise money the way she is.
Draw whatever conclusion you like?
It would be pretty funny to watch the Mayor endorse a person, only to see how fast they would disavow the endorsement.
Its not really fair to say that Hacopian is the Mayor's consultant working on Krekorian's campaign. He's a fellow Armenian, a personal friend and Krekorian's consultant. And one time he worked for the Mayor.
Now if Paul had hired Ace or Parque that would be a different story.

The Hacopian question is 100% fair when Paul spouts BS that he's "fighting the downtown political machine."
He's running so he can cash the checks and hang out with his buddy Koretz until it's time to run for Congress or something.
I've worked with a lot of campaign managers in my time. They go with whoever pays them. It doesn't matter if Shallman, Ace, Parke, Eric, etc. actually worked on say... Tamar's campaign for LAUSD. If any of them were hired to work for Essel this time around, they would use the information they got against Tamar to work in Essel's favor. No matter which one of them it was. It's what they get paid to do.
Sometimes the readers here are so politically uneducated that it boggles the mind.
SOME PEOPLE ARE BRAIN DEAD, THEY SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING AND INSIST ON MAKING BAD CHOICE FOR BAD REASONS. LOOK AT WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENINIG YOU WANT TO LIVE IN A GHOST TOWN THAT'S WHERE IT'S GOING WITH ALL THIS AIR HEAD THIMKING.
