Let's see how many articles that Mayor Sam gets published in Los Angeles Magazine or elsewhere.
I can't recall ANY. True test of someone's reliability in reporting FACTS or INTERESTING stories.

Laobserved.com is a uniform, non-slanderous, easy to read site. Mayor Sam's site is a mess, with homeless people, alkies and women who may or may not have been hit on by the shower-challenged boss, Mike "Mayor Sam" Higby.
Let us not forget that Higby endorsed a homeless man, Zooma Dogg, to be mayor, and lets the last place finisher to write on the blog, further sinking it.

The loss of Lapdog Weiss to a man named "Carmen" (whispers) who we understand has a very pleasant baritone choral voice) combined with the pending loss of a certain environmental club brown noser who used to be a big wheel in the WeHo municipal government is in fact small potatoes...but enough for those who would to use as valid evidence of the slippage of traction upon the ice by one "Has Been," savvy?
We also see the appointment of the Lapdog to a deputy mayor position as His Has Been Nibbs' way of removing a deputy mayor who, if you will, has been non productive for quite some time. Who will get the axe? (Whispers) The hint is in the colour of the hair.

Woke up to a new day in LA politics, an outsider beat the vile hate-filled campaign of the not too soon enough to be ex-politician Jackass Weiss.

Weiss was the biggest looser last night, followed closely by Averill 'Ace' Smith, who's kamikaze kampaign proved as successful for Weiss as it was for Hillary.
I didn't see the tv coverage of the Weiss Defeat party, but I'm told that the shot of the night was that of the Mayor looking at the figures on his laptop, while Weiss winces as the figures came it.
MS got it right and Los Angeles voters gave a clear message to Weiss last night; Hit the road Jack!
I have a question for Mayor Sam
You used to say that you could "see" who is posting negative comments on the blog, but I did a little research and found out that that isn't true.
If you are going to post completely false information about the confidentiality of posting anonymously, you should come clean Mayor Sam and just admit it was an empty threat you made.
But I would imagine that you will do as you usually do, and just ignore this comment. Just come on and admit that you have zero ability to see who is posting anonymously. It is dishonest and makes you like rather foolish.
Oh, and did I mention that the LA Times called Weiss "Unfit" for the post?

The Eastside pols ain't going to forget this or forgive Pleitez for splitting the Latino vote that got Judy Chu the victory over Gil Cedillo. I don't know where Pleitez's standing is with Villar since Villar endorsed Chu. It should be clear where Pleitez standing will be with Molina, Polanco, Bercerra and the rest.
