Well, you guys won't have Jack to kick around anymore, at least until Antonio appoints him Deputy Mayor in charge of something or other.

I am predicting a short honeymoon for Nuch, say three months, then the wailing will begin around here about what a lousy city attorney his is...

Congratulations to City Attorney Elect Carmen Trutanich! Finally, the LA has elected a straight shooting politician who can set an ethical, open and honest tone for the rest of the LA politicans. The Mayor and Chief talk about transparency...but, we know there has been less and less of the up and up in the last few years...Go get up Carmen!

Don't clebrate too soon, suckers.

Anybody want to guess where Weiss will be going?

Let's see, can you say "Deputy Mayor Weiss?

The only question will be whether the City Council will confirm him...

I think the voters continue to send a message to Antonio: start delivering what you said you'd do. Appointing Weiss to anything would send the wrong message from the Mayor. It would say, the entrenched, political status quo is unrepentant. Not a good move by the Mayor.
