Dumping trash on our city
I'll be calling 311 about this one shortly.
Update: I called 311 around 5:00 p.m. I was told that I had to call Sanitation. I asked if they could transfer me. The operator told me that Sanitation's calls were now transfered to 311 because Sanitation closes at 4:45 p.m. That seems like an odd time to knock off. The ironic thing is that if I had dumped the stuff myself, 311 could have taken the request to have it removed. But because it was done illegally, I have to call Sanitation myself. You would think 311 could just take the report, route it to Sanitation and at some point Sanitation would take care of it.
Welcome to LA!

The fees at the public dump are so high and the long lines at the entry this is the result
On the other hand why not call the sanitation department for a special pickup there
Is little excuse for this.

What's worse? The trash you print every single day on this pathetic blog or these household items which someone will recycle? Maybe your best friend ZD can pick up this stuff and set up house-keeping under a freeway near you. LA will look more and more like this every day because the media, and I include you in this category, either ignored or made a joke of the mayoral election.

The City grows mattresses, old furniture and discarded appliances at nights and the Bureau of Street Services is tasked with cleaning this stuff up and dumping it. So if you see someone dump, get a license plate, time, date, location and general description of the dumper and send let the folks at BOSS know.

At least you got to listen to the Mayor do some free advertising,
"This is Mayor ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA. Thank you for calling 311."
And then of course, "Este su Alcalde ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA. . ."
For a real laugh, try calling Council Phone some day 213-621-CITY.
"Thank you for calling con-sil fon. Live addio cobrage of city concil and co-miteee meeetins."

Mayor Sam, nobody knows more about problems on the street than the HOMELESS MAN you ENDORSED for Mayor!
Too bad he drew fewer votes than Gordon Turner.

Wow! You're keeping your Zuma Dogg sickness going days after the election and on posts that don't even mention or have anything to do with Zuma Dogg.
I think Zuma is happy in his life. Why aren't you? Don't you have an election to plan for any way?

No, Higby.
He swore he wasn't coming to city council any more. Do you know how long that lasted? ZERO days! He came to city council on Wednesday.
How long did that last? No one knows because he came to city council TODAY too!
He then said he would only speak during public comment. Do you know how long THAT lasted? Five minutes. He spoke on the very next agenda item!
Talk about addiction! The boy is addicted to the limelight of city council and can't go away. Breaking all his promises. No wonder you endorsed him! He lies like all the politicians do.

Well, we know that the Zuma-MS-obsessed lithium user @ 1:01 is pretty much in council chambers every single day.
That narrows it down. We know it's definitely not Jack Weiss.
