Nick Calls Out Greuel on Measure B
City Controller Candidate Nick Patsauouras has issued a challenge to his opponent - City Council Member Wendy Greuel - to meet him any time, any where for a debate on Measure B, the controversial DWP takeover of the solar industry in Los Angeles.In his message to Greuel, Patsaouras says "We don't know how much Measure B will cost but we do know it will raise utility fees significantly for DWP ratepayers. In this time of extreme economic stress the voting public should have all the facts on Prop B." Patsaouras tells Greuel "You as an author of Prop B and it's chief sponsor in the City Council and I as an opponent of Prop B are uniquely qualified to debate this issue."

Oh man, you don't think I'm going to beat Antonio in the genral election without a run off? Don't make me have to work for it! The Pixie vs. the Greek is how Jill Stewart's Weekly headline reads. Is that even PC, to call someone "the Greek" like in Zorba, and to note he sounds like he's just off the boat?
Even if it's true and no one you can't understand unless he speaks very, very slowly has a good chance. Almost as bad as Reyes. But it doesn't keep them from talking and talking and talking, until you want to scream Shut Up.
The way Nick dragged out DWP meetings with slow, tedious points that had already been answered, is reason enough to vote NO.
Did the City Controller Candidates debate already??
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power General Manager H. David Nahai has said LADWP can’t advocate for Measure B.
Mr. H. David Nahai is a Board Director at the California League of Conservation Voters.
“CLCV has a history of endorsing local measures of significant environmental importance and scope. Measure B certainly fits that description.”
Did Mr. Nahai endorse Measure B as a CLVC Board of Director?

Is anyone really sure he said that he wanted to "debate on measure B", because maybe he just saw a "great mess of bees".
