Obama Wins First Two Precincts
The New Hampshire towns of Dixville Notch and Hart's Location - who both open and close their polls sometime around midnight on election day and are thus the first locations in US primary and general elections to cast votes - have given a stunning victory to Barack Obama for President.
In Dixville Notch, with 21 registered voters, Obama won by nearly 2-1, 15-6. In Hart's Location Obama took 17 of the town's 29 votes with 10 for McCain and two write-in votes for Ron Paul.
Independent candidate Ralph Nader received no votes.

For what it's worth it looks like one Republican moved over to Obama (based on primary results) and they had four people who didn't show up to the primary.
Also, no one voted for Hillary in the primary.

Actually that's not true Joe. In 68 Dixville Notch voted for Nixon; they last voted for Democrat in 96 (Clinton).
HOWEVER, a better statistic for you is that Dixville Notch at least 1960 has always voted for the winner in the general and in many cases they voted for winner of the primary in each party (though not always).

Those four people were most likely
McCain supporters that were detained by Obama's socialist goon squad until the polls closed!
RECOUNT!

Oh you said "primary". Nevermind.

For what it's worth, it's the Associated Press that is reporting that the last time Dixville voted for a Democrat was Humphrey in 1968.
Here's their story in the Concord (NH) Monitor.
It's a sad day when you can't trust the AP to be accurate.

Me thinks Anonymous & the AP got it right.

Dang I should not reading Wikipedia after 11 hour workdays. Now I see they bolded the winners of the primary not the Dixville Notch voting.
Christ almighty.
