I wonder what the FatBoy Higby will be saying about the resounding victory over McCain and the Bimbo Sarah Palin.
The American voters did not buy the smear campaign by losers like Palin and Higby against Obama, what a proud moment for us who have seen the dirty politics of the right wing nuts like Higby and Fox news reporters go down in flames !!!!

I've worked for and have voted for candidates of color who were both Democrats and Republicans.
I never said Obama should not be President because he is Black. In fact sometime back I had even considered voting for him (before I knew more about his record) because of the historic opportunity.

If Condoleeza Rice, Michael Steele, Lynn Swann, Bobby Jindal, et al were to run for something I would likely jump to support them.

No matter what Michael says, we all know where he stands. He simply does not like blacks which probably masks other biases and hatred. It's just my opinion, but I suspect I'm not alone.
Higby, what some of the posters are trying to say is that they think the Bradley Effect has played a role in what you have posted. They feel that you have been hiding your anti-black feelings behind your fear of liberalism.
I don't agree with them.
I think that your fear of liberalism is unfounded and you have blown it so out of proportion that you missed an opportunity to part of what is unquestionably an historic moment in American history.
The nation is not going to end with the election of Barak Obama. We have survived, barely, George Bush. And using an example that you like, we survived Jimmy Carter.
Americans like change. The Republicans had their chance and things didn't go well.
When the Republicans controlled the House, it was the right wing that gave the leadership to one of their own, Newt Gingrich. But when the Democrats got control, it was a combination of moderate and liberal Democrats who picked Pelosi.
I believe that Obama wants to carve out a good place for himself in history. That means moderation and reaching across the aisle to work with at least some of the Republicans.
I appreciate the fact that you're letting the whackos take shots at you for a while.
For many it was more that they couldn't vote for Palin, a creationist and dummy, than a vote for Obama and his policies. IT's all surreal. And much of the high voter turnout in the country was people voting against him in strongholds like Texas.
When he fails at his promises, gives tax rebates to those who don't pay taxes and all the other stuff comes true, Hillary will plan her run already. So will that idiot Palin, blaming McCain, and 02 will be the SPECTACLE.
WHAT was Michelle thinking with that hideous dress? She's an ugly giantess in the best of times and looks like some exotic, bow-legged animal loping onto the stage with a giant red pouch. And that's NOT racist you miserable 11:40. There are lots of attractive black women, she's just NOT one of them. The girls came out cute, though.
