Something tells me that the Mayor isn't going to talk to Rosendahl about the Neighborhood Council President.
Sounds like the Del Rey NC learned the Brown Act from Bradley.
Higby how often do we have to tell your fat ass noo ne pays attention to ZUma Dogg and putting him on your blog does nothing for you. He brings nothing, he does nothing. He is a smelly, homeless, mentally ill clown who commands not respect in City Hall and adds noting to the discussion. He detracts from any real work that could be done and from the real activists working in the community.

I have stayed away from this blog of late, because it was too much Zuma again, but i dedcided to watch the video, as I had never done that before.
NOw I know why I never watched. The fool said everything twice and whined while he was doing it.

Put yourself in this position. You are the President of a Neighborhood Council in a successful, upscale community.
You show up for your meeting to find a broken down, unregistered van occupied by a smelly, homeless fool who's first question to you is to ask for money for coffee.
Then during your meeting for which you only have a certain amount of time and your board members and stakeholders have only a certain amount of patience the aforementioned smelly, homeless, begging for money fool wants to speak on every agenda item and further waste the minimal time you have available to conduct important business.
What would you do?

How can you write that Zumma Dogg "brings nothing, he does nothing". He posed on camera questions that MANY people in Los Angeles want asked by the "media". The mainstream media in this town is a joke and will someday (albeit in the distant future) disappear altogether. Obviously you are just posting here to bag on ZD. But he was there. He made the effort to ask the questions I for one tremendously respect what Dave does. He may be homeless. He may smell. He may be obnoxious at times. I don't know and I don't care. But what I do know is, he is exercising his rights. He's the one that is actually doing something. He's bustin' his ass all over town attending meetings, getting valuable information about MANY different communities, and speaking out against the corruption and status-quo that is dragging the city into the toilet and beyond. So actually you are the ones (or mostly likely one) that isn't doing anything or bringing anything. Go away..
But 3:05. The way the Neighborhood Councils were set up practically anyone can be a "stakeholder" in any NC and therefore they have a right to speak. Basically if I drive through your NC on the way to work, I am a stakeholder and thus have a say.
And to answer your question...
I would follow the law (Brown Act) and conduct my meeting accordingly. If it took up too much of my precious time, I would do some soul-searching as to whether I really want to be an elected member of the NC. That's what I'd do.

Noone asked you or elected you to be our representative. You are an officious intermeddler (go look it up) and will one day be called to account for your time wasting ways.
Then during your meeting for which you only have a certain amount of time [THE MEETING ENDED AT 8:22pm when they had until 9pm, and I didn't know meetings could be limited by time under the brown act?]...
(Zuma) wants to speak on every agenda item [NO, of the 10 items, I had cards for 3 items...that's not ALL items, and would have only added three minutes to a meeting that ended forty minutes early, that shouldn't even be timed with an egg timer.]
And the only business I saw was people complaining that QUIMBY money was leaving the area. And Rosendahl's office wants to spend $4 MILLION DOLLARS on a park and rec building.
I don't know who that smart-ass, ignorant NC president is, but he's there to open the roll, steamroll the roll, tabulate the development.
I found this pompous jackass to be particularly arrogant -- and since he was SO FUCKING WRONG...HAD TO BITCH SLAP HIM TO ANTONIO, ROSENDAHL, KIM (among others.)
