Here is your Open Thread for Hump Day, is Los Angeles becoming a third world city? You may not read this in the Los Angeles Times, we have to go to England to find out the following (hat tip to Joe B. for pointing me to the story):"Los Angeles is becoming a "Third World city" with immigrants making up half its workforce, says a new study.
A third of immigrants have not graduated from high school and 60 per cent do not speak English fluently, the Migration Policy Institute found."

NO you don't have to go to England to find that out.
Just go to Mc Arthur Park or arond the corner to 6th and Burlington you wil see this Third World Country. Or go to East Los Angeles, on the corner of Soto Street and Cesar Chavez St, it's Tijuana del Norte. I see this all over L.A., with illegal street vendors, trash and grafitti painted on any large surface including trucks.

This is the brilliant "International City" our Mexican cholo leaders keep talking about. And why Bratton talks about "immigration haters" to refer to those who want to actually enforce our laws, distinguishing from illegal and legal. And lord help us, some want to actually encourage immigration of those who can contribute to our society vs. those who are just one huge underclass, and then will march again on May 1st demanding more 'rights" against the "racist" society which allowed them here in the first place.
Tim Rutten has a piece aping Bratton and kissing his butt, about "The Pope Gets Roughed Up by Immigration Haters," using Bratton's misleading and hate- mongering language. No, these are people who want to enforce the laws and oppose irresponsibile llegal immigration. Sure, the Pope and the Catholic church want to expand their base, the more illegals the better. And let those Protestants with their dumb "work ethic" support and try to pull up this underclass which is now a majority of our population.
What do the Catholic hierarchy care what happens to them or the country as a whole -- if the did, they wouldn't be encouraging these poor bere and in their home countries to have masses of kids they can't afford. The Church can't help with these problems it promotes, of course, because it's too bogged down with selling off schools and closing programs to pay for all of its pedophile priests who've been just reassigned from one place to the next for decades.
Rutten's hate piece also refuses to acknowledge that not only Darryl Gates, but today's rank and file cops in the form of their union the Protective League, oppose SP40 because in fact, it's "career suicide" to touch the illegal status of ANY suspest questioned or arrested under ANY circumstances.
Amazed that the pro-illegal Times even included those comments in its 40 on 40 or ran the opposiition of the Protective League to Bratton. But there's been no followup and an apparent attempt to bury that news. Certaintly fat blowhard Rutten doesn't mention it, it's easier to just attack Lou Dobbs and Zine and Moore, who seem too "unsophisticated" to take seriously. But many agree with their points and are infuriated by being marginalized with "hate" speech by Rutten, Bratton and the Communistic, Reconquista Mexicans.
Yup, thanks to gang banging cholo Mayor our city has now become just like Tijuana. Take a ride in downtown LA and those filthy illegal vendors selling away making tax free CASH with no permits. Its disgusting to see hundreds of them all over downtown and Jan Perry doesn't do a damn thing about it. Our Latino politicans have sunk LA into the toliet cause they have no class, no leadership, no brains, guts or vision. How can they want a better Los Angeles if they are used to low life crap? They don't
Did you see how much the Dept. of Parks and Rec are getting cut? Excuse me but if kids can't even go to the Park cause our cholo Mayor screwed this city the worst in its history where are they supposed to go? We all knew it would take a dumb ass Latino Mayor to ruined this city and thanks to Antonio its happened. LA is in the worst state of affairs ever and he has the nerve to still want to do photo ops.

If he were a morally responsible person, he should lay awake at night thinking about all the lives lost that were due to his negligence!

About an hour later, Jose Varela, a 40-year-old Latino man, was fatally shot in the chest at 1124 S. McBride Ave near the Long Beach Freeway. Fuchs said the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:04 p.m. Authorities said the shootings were not related.

Alexous Ann Sandoval and Daisy Orozco, two 17-year-old Latino girls, were killed in a taxicab crash at the intersection of Medford Street and Fishburn Avenue in City Terrace about 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8. Shortly after, a Latino man armed with a handgun approached the taxicab. Police said Hernandez panicked and sped off with the girls still inside. The two teens told Hernandez to stop, but when he didn't one of the girls allegedly attacked Hernandez, causing him to lose control and crash into a concrete barrier, authorities said.

Leonel Cervantes, 20, a young Latino man, was stabbed in the 2700 block of Delta Avenue in Rosemead about 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 7. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Cervantes was approached by a Latino man and a Latina woman as he was walking. Cervantes was then stabbed after an argument broke between him and the couple.

Jose Palomino, 25, a Latino man, was shot multiple times in the 500 block of S. Lorena Street in Boyle Heights at about 7:52 p.m. Monday, April 7. Palomino was transported to County-USC Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, said Los Angeles police spokeswoman Ana Aguirre
There were a couple of stories last year about Laura Chick N Shit forgetting to collect millions of dollars in traffic fines. Then let's not forget the over $200 MILLION over budget for the new LAPD headquarters that again LAURA CHICK N SHIT has failed to keep an eye on. City council allowed this money to be wasted and sat and did nothing. So there's millions being wasted and now the tax payers are going to get taxed again because of their stupidity. Where is the outrage.???*(**&^&%$$
