This is the city: Los Angeles, California. I work here. I'm an ex-mayor. Los Angeles is a magnet for people from all over the world. Some of them run for public office. Inevitably some of them stray from the golden rule and rule for those that have the gold. That's when I go to work. My name is Yorty. I'm a dead pol.

Where is the leadership in this City? Why doesn't anyone make the connection between how much money we're throwing away in Iraq everyday, and the huge budget deficits that governments all around America are facing? Greig Smith doesn't want to tackle the issue, saying it's Federal, and Rosendahl just wants to make some silly anti-war resolution. But someone needs to get up every day and count how much money the city is losing to this war.

Yes Bush has wasted billions in Iraq, but the city council is another group of idiots who also waste and waste money.
The city council wants to raise taxes and fees on everybody, the beast will eat all the tax money they can get their hands on.

Asshole Huizar making the city absorb the costs for his political paybacks. This guy is a no talent, no leadership, illegal loving TJ himself. He has no class, dresses in clothes like a little boy and is still in diapers. Never goes to meetings and demands his staff escort and treat him like he's a star. Everyone laughs. He can't wipe his ass without permission from Antonio. Hasn't done shit in his district to speak of and tried to grow a beard to pretend he's an adult. What a damn shame we're stuck with these losers.
