Bootleg Video of Michael Levine
I was at the Michael Levine LIVE! event over the weekend and shot the video below. It will be part of a documentary to be released at a later date but Mayor Sam viewers get to see it here first.
At first blush, there doesn't seem to be a direct link between politics--supposedly the common thread for all of our postings and musings here--and a talk on public relations. But like many politicos/communicos will tell you, perception matters and there must be method to your madness if you want to be at the top of your game--whatever arena you play in.
I liked his professional/personal code of the "Three O's" and "Voluntary Homework Assignment" and found it highly adaptive to our world of politics and public affairs. There are five videos in total; warning: he drops a few f-bombs and uses some provocative imagery.
FYI. Levine is the same guy who wrote Guerilla PR and authored several other books on business and public relations. I love his closing quote from the "poet of our time," Bob Dylan:

When we meet again
Introduced as friends
Please don't let on that you knew me when
I was hungry and it was your world.
