Spitzer: Game Over
New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer today announced his resignation after allegations of his involvement in a prostitution ring.
Interestingly there was no condemnation of Spitzer by feminist Hillary Clinton. That may be because Spitzer was supposed to be a super delegate for Shrillary. Right now, Mrs. Clinton needs every delegate she can get. With his resignation, Spitzer loses his super delegate status.
Taking over for Spitzer is Lieutenant Governor David Patterson, who will be only the fourth African American to serve as the governor of a state.
Can you say Rudy for Governor at the next election?
Spitzer threw away a distinguished career as a prosecutor and governor with one bang. You have to give credit to Mayor Villar; at least he got his for free.

The wife looks like she's aged a decade overnight. When they took office a year ago, both in their late forties, they were considered young -- Silda looks late 50's at least now.
Getting hookers would be one thing, but the effort it took to move around all that money, upto $80,000, sounds like an obsession and addiction.

Someone said on an earlier Spitzer thread that his daughters will have "daddy" issues after knowing he cheated on their mother.
My prediction:
They'll be Christian Republicans, and AIG will be their insurance company.
