Will Bill Rumble be the latest to benefit from his membership in the Southwest Society??
Bill Rumble and his wife Carol Jacques can be describe as the "BILL and MRS. BILL CLINTON" of Northeast Los Angeles.Jacques was once the Chairperson of the El Pueblo Commission which oversees Olvera Street. But some have speculated that her "MRS. BILL CLINTON" like persona cause her demotion to Vice-Chairperson.
Rumble is the President of the Northeast Democrats. Now he seeks to expand his political base by taking out papers for the 46th Assembly District Central Committee Chairperson position.
Some are speculation that this run for the position currently held by Robert Nakahiro is Rumble's reward for his stance on the Southwest Museum. In his time on the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council, it was Rumble aided by the likes of Eliot Sekular and his wife who sought to remove the neighborhood council from the Friends of the Southwest Museum Coalition.
Now as a charter member of the Southwest Society, some are observing who helps with financing Rumble's campaign for the Central Group Chairperson position.
Hmmmm, wonder who that would be.

A more interesting thought to ponder....who are the volunteers who are helping him with his campaign?
Um, what? Bill is running for LACDP Central Committee membership, where he'd be 1 of 7 from AD 45. It says so right there in the link you provided, Red Spot.
What do you figure? Maybe 10 people would be interested in this guy and his wife?
9 candidates running for 7 slots means that campaigning must be done in order to insure that Rumble has a seat at the table. Campaigning also involves dollars, hence the reason for the post. And for the record, Robert Nakahiro would make a far better chair than Bill Rumble. GO ROBERT!

Bad news guys - but keep blowing the trumpet if it helps you feel like activists. No one much cared outside of a few dozen Mount Washingtonians that a museum was hanging off the side of the hill when it was still open, and just a small handful more care now.
People are being shot to death in a hail of bullets right in front of crowded grade school playgrounds at the base of that same small hill.
In the grand scheme of things, and taking into account Maslow and what not, the VAST majority of people in the surrounding area are so far away from this elitist sniping -- between two miniscule cliques of pampered poodles -- as to be living in another world.
Red Spot's facts are a bit "spotty" this time, although it doesn't necesarily change the results of his report.
Board minutes show that Rumbel wasn't on the Arroyo Seco Council when Eliott S. grew tired of the Friends Coalition and decided not to play with them anymore. Neither was his wife. Another Southwest Society charter member was, however - namely Pat Griffin.
But this detail is an excellent hint as to the real identity of Red Spot, or perhaps his main source on this stuff. One just has to "plumb" deep enough to find out. Right?
