This we do for archive value, as posted.
This from Texas,

Texas is going to play a key role in picking the Democratic nominee for president, and you don't have to wait to vote.

Although Texas' primary and caucus are on March 4, you can vote for Hillary starting tomorrow. Early voting in Texas begins Tuesday, February 19 and ends on Friday, February 29. Registered voters can show up, walk in, and cast a ballot for Hillary. No lines, no waiting.

Visit our website to find the early vote location in your county, or call our voter information hotline at 1-866-939-VOTE. We're expecting record turnout in Texas this year, so early voting is an easy and convenient way to avoid the long lines on Election Day.

You can vote on your own schedule. We want to make sure every Texan has an opportunity to vote early and make their voice heard. So find your early vote location by clicking here or calling 1-866-939-VOTE, and tell your friend, family, and neighbors to vote early.
I hope you can get out and vote early. And don't forget that if you're voting absentee, now is the time to send in your ballot! Thank you for all you're doing to help Hillary win.

Michael Trujillo Texas Field Director

P.S. After you've voted, we still need your help.

Only those who have cast a ballot can caucus for Hillary on March 4. We can only win Texas if supporters like you join us across the state. Please sign up at our website!

Zuma is smarter!

Calling all Mexicans! Calling all Mexicans! Hillary can't win unless all illegals get out the vote!

Hillary needs all voters with an IQ lower than 60 and a GPA of 1.4 or lower!

She needs to bow out NOW...enough is enough!

I wonder if the Blogging Burros will still refer to the L.A. Times as the "La Antonio Times" after stories like this.

Mayor's skin still thin 3 years in

I could be wrong, but I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I need my own TV show in order to get an interview with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

There he was on "The Charlie Rose Show" last week, talking about two subjects I had asked to speak to him about. I never got a callback from his press guy, but the mayor seemed quite happy to be there with Charlie. Or maybe I've got that wrong and he was just happy to be on national television, in which case I could be out of luck.

This is my favorite paragraph of Steve Lopez column today.
....I haven't always blown air kisses the mayor's way, particularly during last year's Summer of Love at City Hall, and he has never been quite sure enough of himself to handle criticism well. It doesn't seem to have occurred to his sycophantic staff to step in and advise him to embrace his enemies, suffer his defeats with class and disarm critics by showing them he's grown a tough skin. It's a common mistake among politicians, including Villaraigosa's pal Clinton, to hide from the press and then wonder why the public finds them remote.

I'd still like to talk to the mayor. I'm worried about him. I'm worried that he might be slipping into a funk over his falling approval ratings, the difficulty of fulfilling campaign promises, a city analyst's swift dismissal of his budget-balancing proposal, and Clinton's spectacular cliff-diving candidacy. We may all pay a stiff price unless we pull together and begin telling the Mini Mayor he's so good we can't even remember Slim Jim's last name.

Mike was the inventor of the 80 FAKE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCHES and the lovable Chief Parker (a role he assumed from Brian Hay who later portrayed Mayor Frank).

I only met Mike once. He seemed like a nice guy. He told me he was a born again Christian. When I confronted him that some of his political activities were not very Christ-like he denied it and said he had no regrets about anything he's done.

I remember the day that the Mayor Sam bloggers had to out themselves. Mike, Brian and I engaged in a conference call and made the decision to pre-empt the LA Times' story that was about to out us anonymous bloggers. It was decided I would call Rick Orlov at the Daily News and offer him the exclusive interview which he jumped on.

The news was all over the Associated Press. I remember hearing it all weekend long on KABC news.

Right after that Mike had to "blog down" because of his job situation with Rob Reiner.

I can't remember how long it was after that (I guess we could look it up in the archives) but Brian Hay went AWOL, never returned my phone calls or emails and mysteriously disappeared. Several months later I was contacted by his ex-wife who was looking for him but I never heard anything more about it.

In the meantime Mike went to work as the campaign manager for Tamar Galatzan and after winning that race big against a dead man, he got the golden ticket to work for Mrs. Billy "BJ" Clinton.

I don't think Barack Obama could be happier.

However, despite reports to the contrary, Mike was NOT the creator of the 80 FAKE HUIZAR WINTER WONDERLANDS. That distinction belongs to someone else.

“Hillary” The Movie.

“The explosive documentary on Hillary Rodham Clinton”. “Lays bare her history of ambition over principle, politics before honesty and, arguably, self-interest above the law itself”
“HILLARY The Movie uses Hillary Rodham Clinton’s own words and deeds to expose her record of cynicism, controversy and scandal. This new documentary illustrates that the “politics of personal destruction” is Hillary”s favored approach to dealing with anyone who stands in her way”.
“The movie includes over 30 in-depth interviews with experts and opinion makers including Dick Morris, Ann Coulter, Mark Levin, Newt Gingrich, Tony Blankley, Kate O’Beirne, Robert Novak, Michael Barone and Bay Buchanan, among many others.”

“No matter your political affiliation, HILLARY The Movie exposes a Hillary Rodham Clinton who is power hungry and willing to do whatever it takes to win.”

Mayor Sam you make me laugh. You're right on those 80 fake neighborhood watches Antonio tried shoving down people's throats as an accomplishment yet that many don't exist in the entire city. Why doesn't a lazy reporter ask Huizar how many watches are there now and let's see if he lies to cover up for AV.

"Power hungry and willing to do whatever it takes to win?"

Which pol doesn't that describe? You could be talking about Obama -- a guy who's been in the Senate exactly two years, and feels so "ready" already, it's laughable -- McCain, his opposite, who's been serving (in the military and public life) forever, and has his last chance, to ANY of them.

What candidate would raise millions, lose two years of their lives and subject themselves to all that scrutiny, especially in the Clintons' case, and ask thousands of people to volunteer their time, if they weren't going to go all the way?

Again, a sexist stereotype: a guy who does this is committed, a woman is unfeminine and powerhungry.
