LA Union Coalition Announces "The Contract Has Been Settled" With Tentative Agreement -- Pending Mayor, CAO & Council Approval

From: LA Union Coalition

THE CONTRACT HAS BEEN SETTLED!!! On Sunday, September 30, at 7:30 p.m. the [name of union] reached a tentative agreement on all issues of the contract.

…"it is necessary for the EERC (the Executive Employee Relations Committee), the Mayor, the CAO, and several key City Council members to vote their approval, which is expected this week. There is a substantial salary package in this five year contract." (More details to come here on Mayor Sam's blog.)

And oh yeah...thanks to the person who pointed out that ZD posted THIS on Sunday Morning: They'll probably do a 5-year inflated ajdusted contract with a good "percentage increase" upfront. (But what do "I" know?)

SORRY SPIN-LOSERS: LOOKS LIKE, ONCE AGAIN, ZD KNOWS A LOT...NOT BECAUSE HE KNOWS, BUT BECAUSE HE KNOWS WHO TO LISTEN TO. AND THEY SURE DO LIKE TO TELL HIM. [No wonder a certain "one-termer" and his posse are so fearful to the point that my phone is tapped and people are observing me at restaurants with mi amigos. (LOL!!!)]

This story was posted on a major paper website Sat. night, but I won't reveal which or the details since you will try to claim "News before it happens" again. You're days late already. We know which union is trying to organize whom and who feels how about it, whether or not a deal has actually been made.

I never said "no one else had it before me." I just said, I predicted it yesterday (based on ZD's inside sources) -- before it happened.

(but i'm not agreeing that anyone did, or did not have it before ZD posted it here on mayor sam -- i just said i posted it before it happened, dummy.)

Zuma you don't have to prove anything to this obsessive jerk. Stop trying to reason with him, or as we say on the internet "don't feed the trolls"

3:45pm,

Thanks. and it's NOT about who has it one day before the other guy (most of the time). no one reads EVERY piece of media, or listen to EVERY TV/radio station.

it's not like i have ever TRIED to present something before someone else...or rushed for a deadline.

I just post stuff as it comes in...sometimes i don't get to it for a couple days, or don't get to it at all, and i read about in the newspaper, elsewhere -- then I'll jump on it at that point, afterward, since the can has already been opened.

IT'S ONLY ABOUT ONE THING...RAISING AWARENESS SO AS TO TAKE ACTION.

It just so happens a lot of the time, you DO end up reading about it first on mayor sam, by nature of blogs...but sometimes newspapers and tv news can pull out the big guns because they have more resources than ZD...but that may change soon. (what if ZD joined forces with an established non-profit organization???)

hey, if you're mayor of los angeles, and the "positives" are even in the negatives...don't blame yourself...blame everyone around you, like Szabo...cause that's what loser, non-leaders do..

Los Angeles television newscaster Mirthala Salinas, whose affair with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa prompted her transfer to Riverside, failed to show up for her first day of work today after a two-month suspension. A few hours later, Salinas' employer, the Spanish-language Telemundo network, announced that she would not be returning.

I love that the local anchors from Chan. 4 were waiting for her like vultures, and Colleen Williams had announced last week that she was going to San Bernardino/ Inland Empire this week, because they had suddenly discovered that it was hot. And not just the weather, I guess.

Ha Ha, Colleen. What else can you dig up this week, then, or will you be coming back sooner? We'd love to see you rattling around reporting on the renovation of the local post office and rail lines.

in case you missed it on the monday hotsheet...captain jack says some folks are becoming a little "miffed" because it doesn't look like the high school is going to be built at Taylor Yard for the commuity, after all...because some bitch-ass, sell-out elected officials in the area already took the money from the rich-powerful Riverfront Condo developer whom they are beholdant to. (Hmmmm, I thought they were supposed to represent the community, not a single developer. OH YEAH, FIRST you would have to not be a bitch-ass, sell-out!
