Where Do I Direct My Disgust With the Mayor?

A reader writes:

Dear Mayor Sam Yorty(?), Hello. Can you help me? I am outraged that the media (NBC) is doing a better job of holding their employees to a higher standard of conduct/accountability than Los Angeles is of our government employees/officials/Mayor.

I realize that the Los Angeles Mayor can be voted out at the next election but would like to know where best to give my immediate comments, feedback and concerns. Why is there NOT any repercussions or accountability of conduct for the Mayor of LA? Will there/can there be any? If so, what other than at the next election? Can you tell me where best to direct this dissatisfaction? Who best to direct this to? Which department? City Hall? Governor? Have invested a lot of time attempting to research this, to no avail.

I am currently residing in Orange County but a native Los Angeles County resident.
Would appreciate any time and help.

Any suggestions?

Show up at MAV's events, and BOO him just before and after he speaks.

Boo him before and afer he speaks is being polite.

They can try to stop reporters from asking questions, but do you think they can stop the audience from booing (if they don't interrupt his speech)?

No, it can't be Zuma; there are no spelling mistakes and the questions, while showing a profound lack of political knowledge (ala Zuma), are at least cogent and polite.

Maybe it is one of the offspring he got from his liaisons with Matt. Well, that might explain his lack of knowldge re how government works.

Boo aBoo nd start a boycott of all the advertisers on NBC and Telemundo. The only thing that makes people at tv stations listen is $$$$$$. Don Imus got fired cause of the advertisers. Its the power of consumers that they'll listen to. As for getting rid of the Mayor looks like we're stuck with him but be like Zuma and show up to public comment and speak on an issue you don't agree with him on.

I wanted to throw up when I read this. WHo does he think he's kidding? I'll never forget seeing Antonio in the Cathedral last year taking Holy Communion knowing he was committing a sin yet did it for the cameras. He's the last person to be in a church.

.....For the first time since admitting the affair that broke up his 20-year marriage, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on Saturday publicly talked about asking for forgiveness, using a religious rally attended by 7,500 former gang members and ex-drug users on the south lawn of City Hall to express faith in a "loving, forgiving God."

Cops aren't going to protect the sleaze bag, gang banging, cholo of a Mayor so who told port police to be out there and not allow press to ask questions? Again Antonio loves throwing blame and everyone but himself. "The mayor's spokeswoman Janelle Erickson said the Mayor's Office did not order port police to keep media away from the mayor.

Ha Ha Ha Ha ... that is as hilarious as it used to be seeing those photos of Bill and Hill walking into a church on Sunday, Bible in hand! Well, he can't exactly go running to Roger the Dodger right now for some public absolution/forgiveness photo ops, so why not "former" gang members and druggies - that is just too sweet and cozy! Guess he is still taking advice from his Clinton mentors! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!

E-mail your question to John and Ken at KFI 640. Their e-mail address is johnandken@johnandkenshow.com. They strongly feel the same way you and I, and the majority of the people in the City Los Angeles feel about this pathetic, lying weasel of a mayor. They have a strong voice and impact regarding things that are just plain unjust in our city!

Why is Mayor Villar at the opening of the Panda Expess In Universal City Walk? Universal City Walk is not even within the jurisdiction of the City of Los Angeles. It is not city-related. Is it because the owner of the Panda is his friend and has contributed money to Mayor Villar? Or does it have to do with the NBC/Universal 3 billion dollar expansion deal????

I suggest you go straight to Jim and Janice Hahn and Rocky. They will put you on their list when they run for Mayor or Governor. Or fantasize about it...

You're right, it was silly to have the Mayor show up at Panda Express.

They should have asked Zuma Dogg and Matt Dowd: they could use a free meal. But I guess they didn't want to fumigate the place afterwards.

Personally, I like P. F. Chiang's at CityWalk, so this seems like a serious conflict of interest to me.
Is the Mayor picking sides when it comes to Chinese food? His bud the former Mayor, Riordan, owns that big fish restaurant, Gladstones... Doesn't the Mayor eat fish? Is he saying Riordan doesn't serve good food?

Why didn't the fugly little Unger woman rush him at Panda Express? What is her next "plan of attack?"

Write it on a paper airplane and eat it. It will then end up in the proper receptacle.

That's easy... donate to Walter Moore's mayoral campaign.

Wasn't it odd?

The mayor came out from hiding and stuck out his neck just for a branch opening of a Chinese fast food restaurant?

As LAT's Zahniser pointed out, Panda donated $50,000 to Tony Villa to put Tony's cronies onto the LAUSD school board.

And I am pretty sure that Panda is not asking LAUSD to prepare their students to become Panda's future cooks of orange chicken.

Panda's owner has fundraised for Tony Villar for much more and many more times, and was one of the biggest fundraisers for Tony Villa during the mayoral campaign. The trick is that he could "ask" his managers and suppliers who want to continue doing business with him to donate to Tony Villa.

Panda's owner thinks he is the big daddy of Tony Villa. But he could actually become the biggest sucker. He may be falling right into Tony Villa's living wage game, and Tony has been playing him upside down.

Nevertheless, Panda seems to be one of Tony's biggest money sources.

if you are disgusted with Tony, maybe you can boycott Panda until they stop supporting Tony?

Panda wants to open a store at LAX and is willing to pay living wage for their workers at that store.

However, perhaps unbeknownst to Panda's owner, those living wage advocates are actually Tony Villa's close generals and lieutenants. And they have demanded that Panda pays living wages for all Panda's 1,000 stores across the whole U.S. as a condition for it to get into LAX.

And the big daddy is going to come to "help" Panda by waiving the living wage demand for its 1,000 stores. And of course, that is only if Panda keeps donating, and keeps hiring and paying certain consultants.

You see, that is Tony's MO. He plays both sides. He creates a big problem for both sides, and then propose to solve the problem for both of you (you have to hire certain consultants). Then Tony comes out as the big hero taking credit for the "win-win solution". Sure, win-win, for Tony and the consultants, and those two main parties are actually big losers!

How embarrassing to have the mayor at a restaurant opening. City Walk is in the jurisdiction of LA. Yes, Panda owners donated to Antonio campaigns but more importantly whenever the midget mayor has an event Panda Express is there giving out free food. This is definitely conflict of interest. This weekend Antonio attended event with gang bangers from Victory Outreach saying he wanted to be forgiven, now Panda Express. Matt Szabo needs to be fired and anyone else giving advice to AV. Instead of doing his damn job and something more productive for the city. I say anywhere else this loser shows up people should BOO BOO BOO him. when will he and Mirthala come out in public??

Call Jimmy Blacman and Miky Trujillo.

Tell them how the Mayor makes you throw up.

Make them work for their money since we pay their check.
