Walter got his first woody from a Latina! He's been fighting it ever since.
No one cares.
Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is the latest prominent mayor with a personal life that made headlines. Here are some others:
San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom -- Earlier this year, the divorced mayor admitted an affair with the wife of a good friend and political aide, apologized and underwent counseling for what he said were alcohol-related problems.
San Jose Mayor Ron Gonzales -- In 2000, Gonzales separated from his wife of 22 years and admitted to an affair with a 25-year-old staff member.
San Francisco Mayor Willlie Brown -- In 2001, the 66-year-old mayor had an out-of-wedlock child with his chief fundraiser, Carolyn Carpeneti, who was nearly 30 years younger. Brown and his wife, Blanche -- who have three grown children -- are still married, although they have been separated for decades.
New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani -- In 2000, the mayor announced at a news conference his separation from his second wife, Donna Hanover, with whom he has two children. After an acrimonious divorce, he married Judith Nathan, whom he called his "good friend.''
Oh, people care all right.
But since Villaraigosa is a known player, the more intriguing thing about this is Salinas. She's obviously a political groupie who found a way to make her job the vehicle for getting close to the kind of guys she wants to bed.
Integrity? Forget it! Lust elbows integrity over the side rail every time.
What's even more delicious about this is that both Villaraigosa and Salinas need to remember that neither of them are reliable romantic partners. As a player, Villaraigosa will not and cannot be faithful. As a groupie, Salinas doesn't know the meaning of the word.
They're both suckers who may be able to behave themselves most of the time, but will always have a fatal weak spot.
I truly hope someone cares, and that his wife sues him for every single cent. That we, the public use him as an example, that if a person can not keep his/her scared promise made unto god, then how can we fool ourselves by thinking they will even try to do what they promise us,little people. As for that reporter, who can ever trust her, or the integrity of anyone she works for!!
Is it true that Antonio Villaraigosa had two children with two different women before he even met his current wife?
Deceit. Fraud. Self-promotion.
People care about these issues.
Antonio Villar deceived everyone into thinking he was a Villaraigosa, someone committed to a relationship. After the Torres mailers in 2003, he brought out Corina to show he was a committed man but it was all a deception. He deceived the people into thinking he would serve them better than Pacheco and would not run for Mayor.
He didn't do a better job than Pacheco and he quickly decided he had to run for Mayor. Deception.
He fraudulently represented himself as a family man when in fact he is a dog, or Macho Dog, as the New Yorker article brought out. Gloria Molina should be embarrassed to have promoted this perro. And all the women groups who supported him should reconsider.
His tenure as Mayor has been about his self-promotion. Has he solved any real problems in Los Angeles?? No. He has demonized the gang members and brought in a czar to hunt them down with Bratton. He failed with the schools because he relied on Nunez to make it happen illegally.
What's worse is that he put Huizar in CD14 over Pacheco and Huizar is just as empty as the Mayor. At least Pacheco, cared about being Councilmember. The true losers in all of this are the residents of CD14.
He was so afraid of Pacheco being a thorn in his side as a Councilmember when he should have been more afraid of his own weaknesses.
I am surprised Pacheco hasn't said anything about the Mayor and Huizar right now. I guess he has more class than Antonio.
