A pro-second amendment blog calls it an outrage for the Clowncil to "ratchet down on the rights of law-abiding gun owners, while it touts itself a 'Sanctuary City' for illegal aliens." Makes sense to me.Charlotte Laws has an excellent take on the Council's increasing of relocation fees. "Tenants could turn 'relocation' into a profession." Indeed. Charlotte also makes it very clear "affordable housing" is available in the Valley.
Here at the Sister City we regularly carry The Transit Coalition's report on Mayor Sam 2 (thanks to a good friend of the blog!) but Zach at LAist has discovered a very good regular newsletter on transit put out by the MTA. Problem is, its internal only.
The latest video blog from the folks at Full Disclosure is entitled "Cardinal Mahony and The Politics of Religion."

Mahony is worried about declining attendance and donations in the church because of the priest scandal (and his role in it). So, if he panders to the illegals, they'll keep attending church and give money.
Mahony showed himself to be a political whore by actively working against Valley cityhood. He showed himself to be a hypocrite by moving all those pedophile priests around.
Rot in hell, Mahony!!!
What ever happened to the ACLU's argument requiring separation of Church (read: Mahony's support of breaking Federal Immigration Law), and State?
Charlotte Laws got it right about housing in the SFV. I bought a 3 bedroom house in Reseda three months ago for 390,000.
My inalienable right to protect myself, my family, my community with firearms possession far exceeds ANY legislative mandate by clowns in suits. The clowncile needs to hear that loud and clear.
