Mayor Sam's Hotsheet for Wednesday

So far the word on the street regarding new Department of Neighborhood Empowerment General Manager Carol Baker Tharp is positive. The California Majority Report calls the appointment a "new chapter" for the Neighborhood Council Movement and refers to the reign of interim director - Lisa "If You Will" Sarno as one that "outraged and alienated a lot of folks." Over at LA CityWatch, former DONE GM Greg Nelson predicted that "Collaboration, partnership, and communication will be the orders of the day."

The LA Chamber of Commerce has come out with their endorsements for the March 6th City Council elections and with one exception they're backing the usual suspects. The Chamber has endorsed the re-elections of Council Members Bernard Parks, Greig Smith, Wendy Greuel and Tony Cardenas. The Chamber has however endorsed Monica Rodriguez for the 7th Council seat over recycled politician Richard Alarcon.

Here's a church some of Zuma Dogg's sponsors might like: Temple 420. The congregation which blends both Jewish and Christian theology with the use of marijuana as a "sacrament" is led by the Revered Craig X. Rubin. Though Rubin claims his members' use of the weed is protected under religious freedom he's currently facing criminal charges.

Convicted madame Jodie "Babydol" Gibson who served two years in prison for her high priced call girl service is about to come out with a tell-all book. Among her alleged customers: former Dodger manager Tommy Lasorda, actor Bruce Willis, producer Don Simpson and television star Jim Belushi. News reports have both Lasorda and Willis denying the charges.

Guess who ZD saw at the Planning Committee meeting yesterday speaking out to Reyes, Weiss, Wessson and Perry AGAINST the proposed tenants right's plan they were disussing?

Brendan Huffman, y'all...So if you are on the side of developers, then Tamar Galatzan's husband is fighting hard for you. But if you are a renter or homeowner (encino & studio city NC -- renters AND owners) -- ENDORSED the plan that Huffman was speaking out against. Sorry Valley residents...if you don't like it...move out of the region. Team Huffman/Galatzan have more money behind them than you.

Hope may spring eternal, but don't bet on Carol Baker Tharp "bending over" for the Greg Nelson Gang when it comes to running DONE. She knows who she works for just as much as Sarno did.

Seems we have at least 1 council member who has the guts to go against the pack. Channel 4 did an investigative report about Playa Vista and how tons of permits were simply signed off. AV was behind all this and very sneaky what's going on at that development.

...City Council vote is a win for Playa Vista...Times
In a victory for the massive Playa Vista housing complex, the Los Angeles City Council voted Tuesday not to require the builders to perform a costly, time-consuming environmental review on the first phase of the project.

The 12-1 vote was somewhat unusual because the councilman who represents the area, Bill Rosendahl, wanted more analysis done. It was the second time the council had spurned Rosendahl's wishes on the matter.

At issue was the adequacy of Playa Vista's methane mitigation system and the groundwater it removes. Foes say that the system has never been studied properly and that it could cause the ground under Playa Vista's buildings to sink or help spread plumes of contaminated groundwater near the project.

This school teaches the wrong ideas to illegal immigrant kids and forget about American history. Again, all for illegals and what the hell do they do for our legal resident kids??/ Not a damn thing!!! E-mail and Monica Garcia with your outrage!!!

first of all, Bill Rosendahl is shrewd. don't let his innocent charm fool you. that was a total political play.
he knows his one NO vote doesn't affect the outcome, so those 200 people in chambers won't be mad. and the constituents of his district relying on him? he shrugs to them and says "I voted no, what do you want from me?".

interesting too, another subject, I was willing to let Paris off the hook for a .80 alcohol, but her latest shenanigan makes me think maybe it is time you got your ass kicked good, girl. Money doesn't buy you carte blanche on public streets. although Mel Gibson may beg to differ.

GOOD BLOGGIN MORNING !!!

OUTTAKES FROM THE RED SPOT INSTITUTE

1."MONTEMONICA AND THE SEMILLIAS":
If you were near the "BEAUDRY TOWER OF PUBLIC INDOCRINATION, ERR, EDUCATION". Chances were good that you saw the AZTECAS of Marcos and Minnie little collective on Huntington Drive. Yesterday was Charter renewal time for our favorite "COLLECTIVE OF EDUCATION IN LEFTIST, ERR, INDIGENOUS VALUES". All reporters wre protected from wayward parents. Giving aid and comfort was school board member "MONTEMONICA" Garcia. Doug McIntyer had some great sound bites (BIG BITES FOR MONICA), of Monica making a fool of her large self. Monica, you did a great job of highlighting the true agenda of your fellow "MECHISTAS". A person like yourself, who would condone and support charter schools such as "ACEDEMIA", have no business being a school board member.

2."ZONER AND "HIS POLLONESS" AFFAIR":
We all can feel safer that "ZONER" the tagger has been caught. I was thinking of placing a call to the ACLU on "ZONER"'s behalf. Why would I do this ?? Because he faces "CRUEL AND INHUMANE PUNISHMENT" by not be suspended from LAUSD !! Further, he will be force to do hard time in cleaning buses !! After all, others get to "CLEAN YOUR TOLIETS", "ZONER" gets to clean buses. THE HORROR !!

3."KENNEDY REPUBLICAN IN D.C.":
Our favorite "RUPUBLICAN IN NAME ONLY" burned up the "CARBONSPHERE" in his cross-country journey, to spread the message of "SELLOUT,ERR, REACHING OUT" across party lines. If your are a up and coming, republican male public figure, who happens to come in "CONTACT" with a female of "KENNEDY LINAGE". Take heed, and learn from the Arnold on what becomes of your core political values.

4. "RED SPOT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT":
The "RED SPOT INSTITUTE" has been given a special opportunity to join with a premier blog of political thought. Blog in tomorrow for the specifics.
