MAYOR VILLARAIGOSA DOES SOMETHING RIGHT!

He vetoed that dumb $2.7 million settlement!

On behalf of all taxpayers, I thank and commend him. It was the right thing to do, and he deserves credit for it.

And, in a similar vein of correcting mistakes, Rupert Murdoch pulled the plug on the O.J. show and book. This is a good day for common sense.

So much for Jack Weiss' bid for City Attorney. Can you imagine the negative ad that Hertzberg could run.

Please Walter, deserves credit. I don't think so. Antonio doesn't do anything for the people. I'm going to listen to John & Ken cause they will tear him apart. Noticed how he stated he just gave $15 million for South LA. Could it be he's afraid the blacks will come out.

The blacks came out against Michael Kramer who exercised his 1st ammendment rights and said the word N...er at the Laugh Factory now is banned cause the Nit Wit Naji Ali felon and his co-horts want an apology. Chris Rock, Paul Rodriguez, Carlos Mencia and all the comedians who all make fun of all the races owes them an apology for making fun. Blacks are a bunch of crybaby idiots. That's all they do is have press conf. and act as if everyone owes them. Get a life!!

The African American community will not stand for the injustice. The Mayor deserves to be recalled for his support of racist actions.

He is done!

Let's wait to hear what the local NAACP has had to say in all this.

That should really be good.

Exactly WHO is the Mayor listening to?

Exactly WHO does the Mayor report to?

The Mayor would now be well advised to fire the Fire Chief and his incompetent side kick, Andy Fox.

Afterall. NONE OF THIS IS NEW!

Who gives a flying fuck about the NAACP anymore? Let's visit the facts. We have one black fireman who is near retirement. He calls HIMSELF "Big Dog". He is known and has been known around the LAFD his entire career as the "King of Hazing". There are pictures of him all over the internet shaving the genitalia of one new fireman and rubbing mustard all over an Asian to "make him more yellow".

Now who thinks the King Dog of hazing who is ready to retire deserves this money??

Antonio Villaraigosa - This is one of the best things you could have done. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and EVERY SINGLE PERSON I KNOW for not allowing the travesty to drag on. You have gained more respect than you'll ever know. Until the next election.

I couldn't care less what color the man is. If he does any hazing whatsoever, he deserves a bite of dog food.

Thanks to John and Ken and good ol' public outrage for at least temporarily halting this ridiculous settlement and waste of taxpayer $$. Thanks to Dennis Zine and MAV for some common sense as well. I hope this causes the CC to look very closely at such frivolous claims in the future. As Zine noted on J & K, this firefighter deserves his pension and that's it.

5:55 Mayor's decision to veto came from public pressure. You should see the calls, emails, and letters we received.

He didn't want to do it but he wants higher office.

He wants your vote.

This was probably a set-up to let the mayor veto this ridiculious settlement of 2.7 million to this thief. Look at the names of the councilmembers who continued to vote for the settlement after all the pictures and firefighters came out telling their stories of how "big dog" (the king of hazing and pranks)harassed them. The mayor was down in the poles, so, his robots on the council refused to let Zine's call to reverse their votes win. They had to wait and let the mayor have the glory of it...otherwise they would have been in the mayor's dog house.

You thanked John and Ken, but omitted the thinking person's talk radio host, namely, Doug McIntyre, whose interrogation of Clowncil Member Weiss was something even the Spanish Inquisition would admire.

Agreed, McIntyre did a good job vigorously questioning a squirming Weiss, as did Kobylt a day earlier.

He did it for ALL the WRONG reasons! IT was a no-brainer and he isn't fooling anyone!

More importantly!!! Think about the unilateral trash tax! Think about the LAUSD takeover!!! Think about THE TERM LIMIT EXTENTION!!! Think about AFFORDABLE HOUSING!!! Think about the eminent domain takeover of the Ambassador Hotel!!
Think about the wage hike for the LAX HOTEL WORKERS!!!

AND THINK ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT HIS FELLOW GANGBANGERS!!!!

THINK ABOUT WE CLEAN YOUR TOILETS AND HIS REFUSAL TO STOP ILLEGALS!!!!

He has done NOTHING of substance!!!! In fact, he has done more to destroy this city in one year!!!

Think about ALL of our hard earned money paying for illegals, ER rooms closing, schools going to shit, crime escalating.

The list goes on and on...the Mexican Mafia at City Hall is robbing us blind!!!!!! They are only lining their own pockets!!!!

I give him credit for NOTHING!!!!
