The Mayor's Analyst: A Psychoanalysis of Villaraigosa's Confabulations
The Daily News got all up inside Villaraigosa's head, if I may use the vernacular.If you're at all interested in L.A. politics, you must read this article: http://www.dailynews.com/news/ci_4686542 .
There was a story -- how long ago was it? maybe eight years ago? -- about a federal judge in San Jose, Judge James Ware, who routinely lied about his childhood to make it more dramatic and colorful. Reading about Villaraigosa and his accounts of his childhood reminded me of Ware and Ware's revisionist history.
I almost feel sorry for the Mayor after reading the story, but not quite. You get to choose whether to tell the truth about your life. If you choose to lie about it for political gain, well, I guess you can't legitimately complain if a journalist calls you on it.

Tony Villar might fool some of the people some of the time, but he can't fool all of the people all of the time. And I am one person he will never be able to fool!
I was at UCLA at the same time as Villar and the campus was much smaller and much more conservative than today. But I can say first hand that Villar was not there to learn! He was there to cause trouble. He was always on his bullhorn...he and his fellow Mechista gangbangers did everything under the sun to intimidate the white kids on campus. They threatened, intimidated, and terrorized. Most of us just ignored him, but there were skirmishes occasionally. He destroyed a faculty lounge because they wouldn't recognize his precious Chicano Studies. I thought to myself...this is just an aberration....it too will pass.
But fast forward to the first mayoral race...I couldn't believe my eyes when his name appeared on the ballot!
Let's face it folks, it was voter apathy and a stuffed ballot box that allowed him to get his foot in the door...not to mention a heavy dose of Hahn hatred.
I have personally witnessed this little coward run out the back door of a restaurant in the Palisades when someone asked him to renounce his ties to Mecha! He is a punk coward!
He has been pursuing his own political agenda and cares NOTHING about the citizens of LA, much less his "own people". They are all just pawns on the chessboard of Tony Villar's ambition.
How many times has he been photographed with HIS FAMILY???? None! He's shoving them in the background because he's trying to reinvent himself.
This guy is a liar of the first order. I wouldn't believe one thing that comes out of his mouth! You can take the boy out of the gang, but you can't take the gang out of the boy. He's a bully and a coward.

A picture of pinnochio, first hit piece with his nose small, each hit pieces after that his nose getting bigger and bigger. At every debate, his opponent saying "well we all know AV is a liar" or "that's not the truth, this man can't tell the truth" or "this is a man who lies about his own family, what makes you think he's not lying to you know" or "I am looking a man who's pants are on fire" or...
Obviously he has to be put out of office. Finally the truth is out. Anyone who can assasinate his own families reputation does not have the character to lead us and cannot be trusted to take care and guard the money to run our city so it's used to benefit the residents not his friends and campaign contributors.

The single mother (Castro doesn't mention that those drunken binges with Natalia and Antonio Sr. were mutual drunken binges - just look at Natalia's cause of death), the high school drop out (Castro doesn't mention that Tony Villar was kicked out of Cathedral for dealing and smoking weed - there was never any fight with St. Francis High - in fact Tony's compadre Marco Palma graduated from this high school - some racist school, right?), the white Jewish teacher who comes to the rescue (the guy hardly remembers you Antonio! - but then again, the Chico and the Man concept was written by a Jewish writer, right?), and working since he was 7 - what a load of shit. If Tony was outside the Olympic auditorium it was becuase he was dealing , Castro, why no mention of that early 70's raid on Antonio's Boyle Heights apartment on Lanfranco Avenue? - the neighbors are still talking about it. And let's not even get started with June from the Venice Room - she still lives in South Pasadena and she still has that scar.
Sooner or later, the truth always gets you. Little consolation that will be for Hahn or Pacheco - but then again Parke, their is a day of atonement every year, right?

Took a look at the Daily News article this morning at me mum's house. Have to go home and do laundry every now and then. Everybody has a rough childhood, but why glorify it and use it to the disadvantage of others? One reason, perhaps, is because sometimes you need to say anything to get elected. And sometimes you don't have to say anything, but go along with those that do.
I propose that we deal with Villabarbosa in the same way Lisa Sarno was dealt with. Pass a vote of no confidence, if you will.

To all you spinmisters at the "OLD GREY HAG ON SPRING STREET". Once again the most talk about story on the local blogerrsphere comes from the "GREEN SHEET". Tony Castro's deconstruction of "HIS POLLONESS" in todays "GREEN SHEET" is a story that a paper such as the "SLIME" should be reporting. Yet scribes such as the holier than thou "KIM IL RUTTEN" is more concern with the likes of Murdock and Limbaugh, than take issue whether his fellow scribes are reporting the "TRUTH" on the character of our local political leaders. To be objective, Greg Rodriguez did have a eye opening article on the whenning influence of the "LEFT" on news coverage in the "PRINT MEDIA". On "HIS POLLONESS", I have witness first hand the "enbellishment" of POLLORAIGOSA. There are many people in "Northern Boyle Heights" who will tell you the truth about "TONY". Ask why he stop attending mass at Santa Teresita Church, Does he still get his hair cut at METRO BARBER SHOP. There are lots of stories in Boyle Heights of people overcoming adversity, yet most of them do not sellout their own families to gain a political edge.
Nice job Tony Castro -- i am sure your old bosses at the Herald Examiner are proud of your work.

You know what else i like -- you quote Art Pulido like he is a color commentator merely to spice your story.
When in FACT -- Art Pulido is a murderer who went to jail for killing someone. Hey Art -- how is that restraining oder your sister put out on you going?
I mean Tony C. has the journalistic credentials of a baboon. He quotes Art Pulido a man that has been paid THOUSANDS by both Hahn and Pacheco -- he is a criminal hack and this clearly shows that Tony C. isn't a credible journalist able to write anything.

let's take a closer look at the Daily News article for a second.
In reading it through however, beneath it's snide psuedo-psychoanalyzing, it really doesn't make any hard claims.
As far as I can tell the claims are these:
1) Herman Katz, the teacher who encouraged Antonio to apply for college and paid the cost of his SAT exam, did not think that what he did was as big a deal as Antonio did. Huh? Wouldn't that make sense? I've heard Antonio tell the story a number of times over the past 14 years and he frequently points out that when he, years later, contacted Mr. Katz, his former teacher didn't remember what he had done. Teachers touch thousands of lives -- and change quite a few, often unknowingly. That is the whole point of the story. Mr Katz has never challenged the accuracy of Villaraigosa's story.
2) That Antonio's estranged father denies that he was abusive to Villaraigosa's mother. He would not be the first abuser to do so. At the same time Castro quotes Villaraigosa's cousin, Ramon Villar, as fully corroborating the Mayor's recollections. Others do too.
3) That Villaraigosa's father did not give the son from his second marriage the same name he had given Villaraigosa. He named him Anthony -- which is not only the same name, but Villaraigosa was called Anthony throughout his youth.
4)That Villaraigosa was not a star athlete in high school. He has never said that he was. He said that he played high school football and (according to the article) was "not on the first string." Where is the contradiction? Surely people who were not star athletes are entitled to employ the occasional sports metaphor.
Other bizarre points in the article include opining that Antonio and his wife combining their names when they married constituted some kind of devious effort to "reinvent" himself. Strange. Maybe it was just a loving gesture. Maybe they don't like hyphens.
Castro also quotes an Eastside activist, Art Pulido, at length. Without going into the immense wisdom of using Pulido as a source for anything, Pulido seems to be saying that sometime between the age 25, when he worked out with Villaraigosa at a gym, and the age 35 when he encountered him again, Villaraigosa had upgraded his wardrobe and shaved off his mustache. Gee, that happens to a lot of us between those ages.
In short, the Castro article is a smarmy pastiche of inference and insinuation, unbuttressed by a smidgen of factual evidence.
Fuuny how people are now realizing they VOTED for the wrong guy. Antonio had his little Mechista students all over the city telling people its time to vote for a Latino and people being ignorant did just that. There were also tons of ILLEGALS going into precints using other names to vote. HE also had Southwest Voter Registration campaigning for him. Now these little men with no balls, Padilla, Cardenas, Huizar, Reyes all think they own city hall and are the new rat pack. They've all talked about taking over the city. Just look at the stupidity of how city clowncil members are voting for bullshit motions and giving away money. All clowncil are terrified of Antonio's wrath so instead of standing up to the midget they bend. These are the biggest losers ever. People better wake up or else LA will become the haven for an ILLEGAL SANTUARY. I'm a Latino and these illiterate fools are embarrassing us.

1) It began w/ Katz & what else did he embellish? Affordable housing Prop H was a Scam. Pimped as affordable housing and failed. Immediately, it was pimped as middle class working family investment. Mayor NEVER intended this to be affordable housing for needy. Katz was a mere example of AV lies & tip of the iceberg.
2)It's hearsay. Ramon Villar, said this, said that. Same token with Villar Sr.'s Son (AV's stepbrother) he said this, said that. A situation confronts us. We are lied to and to who's benefit would this be? Obviously AV hate for his father glorified his revenge via campaign propaganda? He tarnished a deceased human being, unable to defend himself publicly. He continued to humiliate him, AV is vengeful. Who cares if Ramon Villar backed AV. I don't believe Ramon. He is another liar.
3)Villaraigos was called Tony. Yes, he did exaggerate to make a disturbing and false point. It helped with the votes.
4)Here we go again, AV exaggerated to the point of no return.

The source for dumbass little Mexican comes from Tony himself = 5'6" with lifters, 1.8 UCLA GPA, thrown out of two high schools, failed the bar four times - nuff said.
As for his therapy - Antonio has a presumptious big mouth. He told everybody about his $300 an hour Jewish theerapist. Just like the westside! For further sources, try checking out his tax returns, he wrote these sessions off.
