Mayor Richard Riordan Proclaims, "You're my favorite person on TV" to ZD on 790-KABC!

Maybe I don't disagree as much with Richard Riordan for being the bad guy behind AB 1381, Prop. R, the false condo-construction boom, representing special interests and being the main culprit responsible for Mayor Antonio getting into office (and continuing to pull the strings), now that he gave Big ZD some props on 790-KABC, live on-the-air, with Mr. KABC and Kevin James during Nov. 7th's Election Day coverage; and supported my argument regarding such condo-conversions and the impact it will have on the working class/middle class. [Here's an excerpt from the transcript.]

Zuma Dogg: "Hey, Richard Riordan; it's Zuma Dogg. Have you seen me on City TV, by any chance?"

Mayor Richard Riordan: "Yeah, I have...I mean, you're my favorite person on TV."

ZD: "Regarding condo-conversions throughout the City. It's creating affordable housing problems: The City isn't enforcing the ICO's calling for all condo-conversions to include one-third affordable housing units. And I'm scared the middle class will become lower class; there will be a huge class divide; a lot more people will be out on the streets for the first time; only the rich will be living here; and the workers will be forced to live in surrounding areas of L.A. [More traffic commute problems.] Do you think that might happen?"

RR: "Well, something like that is happening. And there are hours worth of discussion to be had on the topic, so I don't want to say a clean 'yes' or 'no', but certainly the gap between the rich and the poor; the lack of affordable housing; things like that, are going to have a major effect on our middle class over the next five (to ten) years."

Wow! Zuma Dogg and Mayor Richard Riordan agree on the issue, y'all...I'm sure he's gonna get a huge scolding from Antonio for saying this on such a public forum, KABC; and now ZD will echo Riordan's words of support till we have real affordable housing, or until the house of cards cave in on this false luxury-condo conversion boom, and they drop the prices and everyone gets a luxury condo for half-price, y'all!

Villaraigosa will also have to scold Riordan for not agreeing with him on Special Order 40.

And did you hear that exchange between Kevin James and Villaraigosa that night? Oh, man, our mayor is a freaking weasel. How in the world a dolt like that could get elected to run a major American city is beyond me.
