Who Has Time For Code Enforcement?
Why waste tax dollars enforcing the City's laws when there's something much, much more important for the City Attorney to do, namely, give awards to "seniors"? Former pro-football player -- er, not "player," per se, but "team member" -- "Rocky" Delgadillo has issued a press release seeking nominees for recognition as outstanding seniors. There's even an official entry form.

Who in his Office thinks this stuff up? Who actually thinks that this a productive use of City Attorney office time and resources? His office could actually be productive if he were to hire real lawyers and put them to work, instead of the political minions he has working on his phony, pathetic programs.

There is irony in this "award." Rocky has treated his senior attorneys horribly - transferring them to new jobs at the end of their careers so that they will retire, and he can hire young attorneys who will make Rocky look vigorous. The award should go to "senior" attorneys who put up with him for 5 years without quitting.

9:51,
Well put.
Those senior attorneys will have the last laugh in June.
