High School Exit Exam Reinstated For Now
The California Supreme Court has vacated the Superior Court injunction that prevented the State from enforcing the high school exit exam requirement. So for now, no diploma unless you pass the test.
The underlying case, however, will proceed.

Oh my gosh how horrible to make them actually take and pass tests to get a diploma. THhe poor kids are going to no doubt be emotionally scarred for life. Someone ought to sue.

Illegal immigration issues
I have been a loyal Republican for 25 years now. I voted for Bush and also all Republican that were ever running for office. I gave financial contributions and helped with campaigns to support the Republican party, as well as talking in-depth and hours with friends on why being a Republican mattered. I live in South Orange County, Laguna Niguel, need I say more?
This year was the last straw. Our President and all the blunders he’s made I could live with, after all you can’t be 100% on all issues. However a man has a limit to what he is will to put up with. And his betrayal to illegal immigration issues has now broken my sprit. I have decided to no longer support the Republican party, I will now become an independent, and do what ever it takes with helping on voting out my former party in all of it offices and look forward to the day when a new party emerges.
You sir and your party have sold out America.

As you all listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration there are some things that you should be aware of.
As most of you know my wife is in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at large southern California high school, which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socio-economic and income levels. ! Most of the schools you are hearing about, High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, etc. where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.
My wife tells me that 100% of the students in her school and other Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast, free lunch program. When I say free breakfast I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll... but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten.
She estimates that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones.
The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for baby-sitters or having family watch their kids.

The poor kids have cell phones, X boxes and tons of video games. IF their parents knew how to raise them and make them study instead of being in front of tv the test would be no problem. How can kids at the same miniority schools pass the test and others fail? Its all falls back on knowing how to parent.
I thank my lucky stars that my adult children enjoyed and thrived in the LAUSD school system BEFORE the onslaught of the mostly uneducatable anchor babies of mexico.
If I were to have a young family today, they would ever step foot into one of these asylums.
I live in a 100% white upper middle class neighborhood, but when I happen to be in the vicinities of our local schools at 3:00 in the afternoon when school is letting out, I am visibly struck by the sea of brown faces and black hair. It makes me soooo angry to know that Mexico has invaded my local school system. And my kids are adults!!!! These kids are unruly, rude, ugly and scary. I am so happy that they are locked behind the school gates from 9:00 to 3:00 but what is going to happen when they are released from the school system? They will be living in our neighborhoods, collecting welfare, and roaming our streets. Imagine...nothing but ugly brown faces, black hair....we are living in a third world country.
I really miss the adorable little girls with the pigtails....blonde, redhead, freckles, and the cute little tow-head boys.
LA is nothing but a drab. brown skinned, black haired city with dull-eyed, scary looking kids from mexico. All wearing gang clothes. Non-English speaking.
What a tragedy has befallen this city. And they are multiplying like rats.

My advice if for all of them to go back to Mehico and let YOUR gov. take care of you. You are a burden on our schools, health care, housing, and everything else.
There will be civil war if you stay. It's not racist....we do not want a population transfer of ANY race to this country.
How would Fox like it if 50M Chinese or Japanese or French or German or Korean or Americans invaded your country? Same goes for us. We don't want you here! Go home!

Its ok for Mexico to make it a felony if people go there and stay illegally but if they come here we're suppose to be sympathic. I don't agree it should be a felony however, they should learn to speak English, go back if they've been here less than 5 years, pay back taxes, apply for citizenship, pay penality fees
