This is the city: Los Angeles, California. I work here. I'm an ex-mayor. Los Angeles is a magnet for people from all over the world. Some of them run for public office. Inevitably some of them stray from the golden rule and rule for those that have the gold. That's when I go to work. My name is Yorty. I'm a dead pol.

Ugh!
Fantastico!
Who is going to replace Huizar on the Board? I think Huizar would like someone close to him so that he can protect against revelations concerning how little he actually did on the Board.
I really hope a reform candidate who can take on UTLA runs.

AV has already cut the (private) deals to place his choice on the LAUSD board filling Jose's nearly-vacant-for-six-months-now seat.

Albino the alcoholic Parra.
I don't want my kid supervised by this man!
It's not Alvin's "turn" (at least that's what Master AV keeps telling "Igor" Parra. . . probably never.
This whole Robert Nakiriro running is a farce. He has not support, no chance and no money.
Watch, it will be Corrina Villaraigosa for that School Board Seat.
Measure Y bond, Electing Huizar to his Council seat. Wants "more hands-on control". Who is more hands-on than the Mayor's wife.
*NEWSFLASH*
Major Blow to Alex Padilla: The president failed to garner the support and endorsement of LA City & County Fire Departments.
"Who is more hands-on than the Mayor's wife."
You're joking, right?
That was a set-up, right?
Baiting us, right?
DAMN, where's Ricardo Anthony Torres II when you need him?

Just how much support and funding would Huizar have had to run for city council if Villaraigosa and his 7 dwarf council puppets hadn't jumped in early with endorsements?
Not so much!
How much support does it take to win a LAUSD special election board seat when there's nothing else on the ballot.
Not VERY much.
