Herb Wesson is an empty suit? The guy was the speaker of the assembly! (Granted, with term limits, it seems everyone will get their turn as speaker).

Villaraigosa = EMPTY SUIT (stealing a few of Hertzberg's ideas)

Speaker of the assembly is another way of saying -- "not effective enough to be needed in the intra-party fistfights or hard core enough to bother the extremes of either party.. too much".
Herb Wesson is perfect for the Board of Supervisors. He's a good ol' boy, back slappin idiot like Knabe and a media hungry whore like Zev. God bless 'em all.
The same folks calling Herb an "empty suit" are the same folks who will be asking for a job when he's elected.
Get ready for the best damn suit (Brioni) in City Hall. Herb's suits make AV's Nino Ferretti specials look like he bought them from Target, or TJ Maxx...LOL
Yeah but that is an unfair comparison. Antonio needs to shop in the men's department. Herbie fits into little boys' suits so they are cheaper. Hence, the Brioni.

Great a WELL-DRESSED empty suit.
A well dressed empty suit is better for CD10 than the previous occupant of the office who did nothing (no, not Nate Holden).
HW will bring some energy and life into CD10.
