In the blogosphere today:Boi from Troy brings up a good point about Mayor Villaraigosa's ban on road construction. Since the ban only applies to city crews, will clueless commuters blame him for work done by state crews, utility companies, etc.? Boi has photos of just such a road closure today.

Governor Johnson, the blog that could have been the Mayor Sam of California politics continues to flounder with only three posts in the last month. Why is it that only the Sister City has been able to succeed at this type of blog? Remember "Fourth Floor Carnivore" or "Blog City Hall?" Yea.
Martini Republic, not Mailander this time but his associate "Mitten" reports on a fun new wine at Trader Joe's, featuring "pink jazzy monkeys" on the label.

He changed his name from Tony Villar - that's with the english pronunciation - vi lar - to Antonio Villaraigosa, but he doesn't wear his heritage on his sleeve? He's either a liar or a hypocrite or both. He's nothing more than a coconut - you know, brown on the outside, white on the inside. Poor Tony, a man without a race. I guess for the right price he'll be what you want him to be.

Why was Antonio at Rocky's press conf. on the gang injunction against Big Hazard? Antonio supports gang bangers and the entire city knows it. He's former ACLU rep who defended the valley gang bangers against families who wanted to be in the park. This is why the rank and file can't stand him. Talk about hypocritical and two faced.
AV needs to be accountacle for all road constructionn is his City.
I do not want to hear any crying that I can't stop the County or state from doing this, etc., etc.
Yes you can!!! You are Antonio Ramon Villaraigosa who did the impossible and became Mayor.
You are responsible for everything that happens in the entire City.
You cannot just take credit for the positives without taking responsibility for the negatives.
