Rocky Delgadillo wants to run for President.
For the record I support Rocky and his run for Attorney General -- Rocky represents California's future and Jerry represents its weird past.
So while I cannot say Rocky for President quite yet, you can label me a Rocky Rockstar today.

Jerry Brown is yesterday's news. Talk about a guy who can't get a job.
He has offended everyone in the western hemisphere, and although there are still the crazies that will give him money and even vote for him several times, they cannot get him elected.

Chief, you obviously haven't read Nick Pachueco's 70 pp. memo detailing his path from CM to POTUS in five careful steps. It includes a governing plan, TWO reelection campaigns (in case he loses the first one) and two second term agendas.
I know, it sounds a bit premature, but if you fail to plan you plan to fail, as they say. Some highlights from the plan follow below.

Current planning is focusing on the Pachueco historical legacy (cornerstone of 2nd term) and the Pachueco Presidential Library -- on Mariachi Plaza in BH.
A number of magnanimous gestures are being planned -- AV and Victor Griego special ambassadorships, Huizy appt. to Civil Rights Commission, etc. There's still a hallowed place for Chief Parker, drafting the third presidential nomination acceptance speech, or the second inaugural, whichever comes first...

I read the Times article on Rocky and how Sen. Barack Obama would make a fine running mate. Rocky is a good politician, but Sen. Barack Obama stands alone on accomplishments and leadership. To me, he is one of the best for the Democratic Party. I bet he can convert Republicans to Democrats overnight...that would be fantastic, right? Sen. Obama is a fine politician who impresses when he speaks at every event.
The only label you can legitimately wear on this blog, Chief Faker is, "Liar-in-(the)-Chief, until you deliver on all of this:

Michael Finnengan didn't include Rocky's success with all the gang injunctions in LA that are working against the biggest gangs. That's an important piece of Rocky's success story. A lot of people support Rocky. Jerry Brown is a has been.

Yes, previous poster race/ethnicity do not matter. It does matter. Different races see life through different lesnes. Diversity of experience is important. It's also noteworthy that Rocky is 1/2 white because I'm sure that will effect how he views the world.
As a Mexican (both my parents are mexican), I tend to vote for those who share my life experiences and see life as I see it. I don't think Rocky is capable of that.

Frankly, I'm not sure if he can get a majority of the leftist-kook Democrat base that you have to cater to in order to win a Dem primary. especially this is being California; not Indiana. If he can win this primary, than he has solved a big potential problem that I have wondered about for awhile.
If he runs for prez, it will be against another governor who hasn't yet been seated as governor but who will have been in less than 4 yrs. (that's all I'm saying for now...)
