Bitter Bernie Proclamation Goes Off Deep End

There's nothing Clowncil members like more (other than raising their pay and extending their terms) than giving out proclamations to usually deserving citizens during City Council meetings. Though well meaning, the proclamations have been criticized by some as taking up much needed Council time in an effort at self-aggrandizment by the Clowncil. Sometimes though, proclamation time doesn't go as well the elected would like it too.

Such was the case Friday when Councilman Bernard Parks was taking part in a ceremony giving some long overdue medals - posthumously - to a constituent who served in World War II.

On hand to receive the awards and proclamation was the serviceman's daughter - apparently a long standing neighborhood activist.

When Bitter Bernie turned the mic over to the daugther, she went into a rather long stream of consciousness that rivaled that of Sylvia Lynne Hawkins. As Bernie grabbed the framed proclamation in an effort to get her to quit speaking, the woman then burst out in song.

And they get mad at Zuma Dogg when he raps!

That council meeting went 2 hours with presentations. Then they had a choir singing. ITs out of control. Zuma you should ask why those presentations aren't on the agenda. Gruesome stated "when I saw you were going to be here for a presentation last night on the agenda." (referring to teacher who Freedom Writer movie)

Why isn't that agenda with all the presentations given to the public? Zuma here's an issue you can really go after them on. The public is entitled to know to who and how many of those awards will be given out that way people can figure what time to go to clowncil.

And Parks wants to give Tom Bradley a stamp that all city mail has to use. Bradley didn't even support his own people.

...Organizers lobbied hard to persuade people to even ride in the first one in 1986. Tom Bradley, Los Angeles' black mayor, didn't take part for its first six years.

Then you have the outspoken other black group who didn't want to support.....The parade also did not initially receive a warm response from the local chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, which Martin Luther King Jr. once led...

Then you have another black assemblyman who didn't want to support the parade..."His life's work was about marching for justice, and not parading for fun," state Sen. Mark Ridley-Thomas (D-Los Angeles) said last week.

Martin Luther King would have been marching for peace and making it happen in South LA with all the gangs out of control killing their own people. What has Bitter Bernie said or done about that? Not a damn thing but spending all his time on getting an NFL team. The blacks all come out for the wrong reasons but could careless about the violence in their neighborhoods. Glad Connie Rice really said it in an opinion piece about the black idiots like Naji Ali, Mohammed, Logan, who all want camera attention. She called South LA the KILLING ZONE and can't understand why these people aren't saying anything about it.

That's the problem when you have black politicans Perry, Bitter Bernie, Wesson, Bitch Maxine, Crooked Burke and her husband who could care less and come out for the criminals like Tony Mohammed who assaulted an officer the good people in their districts don't have a chance. Who do you think allowed King/Drew to go down the toliet?????
