As the "Old Gray Collectivist Hag, relocated to El Segundo (aka. LA Times)" joins in playing up an alleged, Supreme Court-disqualifying "Act of Ice Cube/Bar Violence" by Judge Brett Kavanaugh, we conveniently remind the formerly, "LA Antonio (for Governor) Times Editorial Board", of the real Violent Past of its "Courageous Gubernatorial Candidate (rightfully rejected by the California Electorate)".
The Ruins of supposed Objective Journalism ....... on Spring Street.
Mad Antonio.
** Blogger's Note: Please pardon the momentary blogging flashback to a repudiated, Era of Subjective Agenda Journalism (on Spring Street) known simply ......... as the "LA Antonio Times".
We sincerely thought that the White Privilege Liberal Scribes at a El Segundo-relocated Fishwrap Producer (along with like-minded "Westside White Guy Bloggers"), were over their co-enabling role (with help from Parke Skelton), in elevating a rebellious Offspring of a remarried City Terrace Mother of four children, into a Horatio Alger-like Progressive Political Savior/Rock Star and after the June Primary ......, they have mostly moved on.
But to be bloggin blunt, we here at Mayor Sam are in denial that our favorite subject matter will simple fade away into a Herbalife
/Marijuana-financed Antonio Villargovea afterlife. Thus, when given an opportunity to cyber-reminiscent (and also expose the journalistic hypocrisy of the LA Antonio Times Era, again), let the shakes of our "Tony V. Addiction" commence.
Two days ago, the LA Times joined with its Liberal Propagandist Brothers and Sisters, nation-wide, in propagating the latest smear that Supreme Court Justice Nominee Brett Kavanaugh, should be summery disqualify for consideration,
based upon an alleged youthful "Act of Ice Cube/Bar Violence"......, prompting the latest shake episode of our "Tony V. Addiction".
Somewhere in our cyber-recesses/repository
(and also found in the Mayor Sam Comment Archives), the "shakes" elevated a vision of a place, that when cleared, resembled the location (from Tony Villar's Past) pictured below ........, Montebello's "Venice Room".
The Venice Room in Montebello.
During the 2005 Mayoral Campaign, the following comment was made that noted numerous alleged character-failings of the then LA Times-endorsed Candidate.
A Tony political operative is sent by Parke Skelton to disrupt a Hahn press conference, and you ask for an apology? How stupid can you get? But let's see who else wants an apology, this time from Tony: -That girl from Sacred Heart that Tony got pregnant, she wants an apology for ruining her life and setting her family on the run to Fresno - you know one day that kid, must be about 33 now, will come looking for you. -Maria Elena Durazo for not marrying her and passing her off to Miguel Contreras. -June from the Venice Room, she still has that scar you gave her. -Father John Morretta of Resurrection Parish, for flat out lying to him, maybe you can go to him for confession, you are, after all, a reformed Catholic! -The Mothers of East L.A. for lying about them and destroying their scholarship program, have you given any schoalrships away? -The residents of the 14th District not for lying to them but for your insistance that they released you from your promise. -Your daughter Priscilla, for leaving that bruise that prompted a child abuse case to be filed against you. -That guy from La Fonda, I'm sure he still has a scar from when you stabbed him -Your wife for, well, just being you. -Martha Reyna for, well, just being you. -Your son, Tonito, for all the times that you abandoned him at those South Pasadena baseball fields, how many times did he have to walk over to Jesus Quinonez' house waiting for you to pick him up while you were out there being a man! -Bob Hertzberg, for either making a pass at him or setting him up with one of your sluts, and you wonder why Cynthia doesn't want him to endorse you -El Sereno residents for reviving the dead Long Beach Fwy extension and supporting the connector road. -Parke Skelton and Steve Barkan, for not being honest with them and telling them about all those skeletons in your closet, you know more are coming - timing, timing, timing. This list goes on and on.....
Some additional, substantiated background from Journalistic Tony Castro in 2006.
Not surprisingly, out of that childhood, too, has come incredible anger, on which the mayor admittedly acted out in the high school brawl that prompted his expulsion from Cathedral High School in 1969 and the fight in 1977 that led to misdemeanor assault charges that were dropped after the jury deadlocked with an 11-1 vote for acquittal. Villaraigosa has said that the charges stemmed from a restaurant fight in which he responded to insults to his mother and sister. Longtime Villaraigosa watcher Gregory Rodriguez, a fellow with the New America Foundation, said he thinks an apparent quick-trigger temper resides just beneath his skin, noting in a Los Angeles Times opinion article that in the 2005 mayoral debates, Villaraigosa "repeatedly lost his cool. ... (He) visibly seethes, furrowing his brows and clenching his jaw. "His volcanic reactions ... are beginning to reveal what political insiders have known for years: The former Assembly speaker can be thin-skinned, easily angered and even vindictive. Although great politicians learn to distinguish between what is political and what is personal, Villaraigosa has not. He can try to hide this side of his personality, as he has erased his tattoo, but, so far, he can't make it go away."
Years later, who endorsed a two-term, Failure Mayor (with baggage) for Governor ........, while disparaging (with unsubstantiated allegations) a respected, qualified Judge .........., as the "Tony V. Shakes" ease for now? ----Scott Johnson.
