Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Tuesday
While LA Weekly's Gene Maddaus offers up "Five (Good) Reasons to Care About the LA's Mayor Race", we showcase this photo below on why the act of voting should never be taken for granted.
Springtime at the Arlington National Cemetery.
As our latest runoff experiment in elected democracy nears its appointed time, the inner cynic within us, will keep many from executing their civic duty come Election Day. But one look above should remind all of us that our right to choice on Election Day, has come at a great cost.
Simply, don't let the tiring chatter on a candidate's oil ownership or another candidate's shilling for a utility union, prompt your "inner cynic" from preventing you, in executing your right to vote.
Your thoughts ..............
