Garcetti has slight lead in latest Mayoral Poll

LA Weekly's Gene Maddaus reports mayoral candidate CD 13 City Councilman Eric Garcetti, has slight lead in latest independent poll.
Can Garcetti forge a progressive coalition city-wide to "occupy new third-floor office space" at 200 Spring Street?
According to the "Weekly of Record's" Gene Maddaus, City Councilman Eric Garcetti has a narrow lead over the "Villar Greuel" in a private poll. The poll, which was not commissioned by any of the candidates, states the following results .........
Eric Garcetti 22 Wendy Greuel 19 Jan Perry 8 Kevin James 5 Emanuel Pleitez 1
Undecided 44
Margin of error: +/- 4 Sample size: 500 likely voters.

With 44% undecided and as the "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" highlights today in its print edition, all four of the major campaigns are "coalition builders in progress", as they seek to create the political formula that will garner a top-two finish in the March Election. For Councilman Garcetti, that effort took him into fellow candidate Emanuel Pleitez's El Sereno hood for a "meet and greet" at the Antigua Bread Store. Judging from the photographs below and from eyewitnesses accounts, the former City Council President was warmly received by prominent members of the largely-Latino community.

Former LA-32 Neighborhood Council President Anthony Manzano chats with Garcetti.
Garcetti shakes hands with Concern Neighbors of El Sereno's Val Marquez.
Marquez continues chat with Garcetti.
Your thoughts ..............
