Do Campaign Contributions buy Ignorance of Potential Harmful Chemicals near School Children?
The now Academia Semillas del Pueblo High School location in El Sereno.
We like our legal friend Solomon Zavala and other noted staff and officials of "TaTa Marcos Aguilar's" educational collective, to join us in a little bloggin "Q and A" (Mayor Sam asks the questions and hopefully the attorney and staff for Academia will accord us answers) regarding some issues at the now Academia Semillas del Pueblo High school location in El Sereno. When Mr. Zavala is not busy making contributions to Academia's political supporters .........
06/30/12 | Law Office of Salomon Zavala Los Angeles, CA | MONICA GARCIA LAUSD - District 2 1346436 - MONICA GARCIA FOR SCHOOL BOARD 2013 | A - Monetary Contribution Received (OTH - Other) [Period: 01/01/12 to 06/30/12] | $250.00
|
....... maybe he can join us as we walk around to the right of the playground, to the back of the building where one hopes he and school staff can explain this ...............
Haz Mat Placard and warning notice on back door of Academia Semillas del Pueblo High School.
Maybe Academia's Board of Trustee Member Irene Vasquez can explain what chemicals are stored behind the door as denoted by the Haz Mat Placard when she is not busy donating money to the school's political supporter.
06/30/12 | Irene E. Vasquez (Director of Chicano Hispano Mexicano Studies, University of New mexico) Albuquerque, NM 87108 | MONICA GARCIA LAUSD - District 2 1346436 - MONICA GARCIA FOR SCHOOL BOARD 2013 | A - Monetary Contribution Received (IND - Individual) [Period: 01/01/12 to 06/30/12] | $250.00

AT & T Antenna Notice.
For noted Academia supporter and UCLA faculty member Octavio Augusto Prescador, maybe he would care to comment about the possible health ramifications to students from exposure to microwaves from the antennas when he is not busy contributing to the school's political supporter ..........
06/12/12 | Octavio Augusto Pescador (Faculty, UCLA) Los Angeles, CA 90036 | MONICA GARCIA LAUSD - District 2 1346436 - MONICA GARCIA FOR SCHOOL BOARD 2013 | A - Monetary Contribution Received (IND - Individual) [Period: 01/01/12 to 06/30/12] | $100.00

Will students and staff at Academia Semillas del Pueblo's High School have future health issues?
We thought that maybe Academia Educator Gerardo Felix could offer his thoughts about potentially being expose to chemicals that cause cancer when he is not busy contributing to the school's political supporter .........
06/12/12 | Gerardo Felix (Educator, Semillas Community Schools) Los Angeles, CA 90044 | MONICA GARCIA LAUSD - District 2 1346436 - MONICA GARCIA FOR SCHOOL BOARD 2013 | A - Monetary Contribution Received (IND - Individual) [Period: 01/01/12 to 06/30/12] | $250.00

Lastly, do contributions from staff and supporters of Academia Semillas del Pueblo, buy the ignorance of the likes of LAUSD School Board President Monica Garcia, when it come to glossing over community concerns about questionable practices at the controversial charter school? We hope that Attorney Solomon Zavala and Academia staff will act accordingly (sound familiar Solomon?) in providing answers to these questions.
Your thoughts ..............

This building was the old Masonic Hall of El Sereno. It was owned by the San Marino Masons until they sold it. But the building is so old it most certainly has asbestos.

Mr. Aguilar, Monica Garcia and the entire Semillas Board are thoughtless!!! How dare they expose the children to these dangerous chemicals!!! Shame on them!! No amount of money is worth the health of a child!!!

this is why communication in this city is so important. the general public will never be aware of what has happened in order to care or fight for change. the schoolboard as well as the majority of city agencies depend on public ignorance and indifferance to to continue their careers in office. we all are less for this.

Once again the question is asked....Is Mr. Jose Huizar involved in all of this???
The city of LA approved the ATT Antennae so Huizars staff must have been aware.
Who is responsible? The Fire Dept, The City, LAUSD...or The Avengers?

FUNNY HOW SEMILLAS WAS PROTESTING AGAINST HECHO EN MEXICO BECAUSE THEY WERE EXPOSING THE KIDS TO VISUAL SIGNS OF ALCOHOL AND WERE WITHIN 500 FEET??? SEEMS LIKE THE KIDS WERE EXPOSED TO MAJOR CHEMICALS AND HEALTH ISSUES....THIS MIGHT BE A GOOD TIME TO COME OUT AND PROTEST AGAINST THE SCHOOL HECHO!!! YOU CAN COUNT ON ME!!!!

Scott "Mamma's Boy" Johnson ought to move on to picking his bellybutton. Who elected him town crier? Oh yeah the anti-Mexican right wing he writes for...What? All of the sudden the democratic process isn't American enough for him?

You don't have to be elected town cryer, so stop your crying. Since when is looking out for the health and welfare of our school children being anti-Mexican? As a proud mexicano, who elected Marcos as the symbol of mexicanismo - putting on feathers doesn't grant you the right to poison our children.

Mr. Johnson did Semillas and attorney Zavala "Bring it On"? didn't think so. Parents of Semillas should "Bring it on" (a lawsuit) perhaps? Any attorneys out there?
