Jerry Brown Stumps Hard for Carmen the Clown

Old Buddies

Why anyone would vote for Carmen Trutanich boggles the mind but why any Republican would vote for this shady former tuna packer completely erases the sane mind.

Republicans need to support Allan Jackson - rational minded independents, Democrats, Libertarians, etc. should also back Allan. He's received support ranging from moi to Joseph Mailander to Walter Moore to Ron Kaye (who gave a two-way nod to both Jackson and fellow Deputy DA, Jackie Lacey). Not often do those guys agree.

"Los Angeles County voters need only remember three letters when they cast their ballot for district attorney on June 5: ABC. Anybody But Carmen." - LA Daily News

Carmen's biggest supporters are Jerry BrownAntonio Villaraigosa and Phil Jennerjahn.

Hollywood activist John Walsh reports today that he has received robocalls from Jerry Brown on behalf of Trutanich.

Why even Democrats would vote for Carmen when there are perfectly capable progressive choices such as Jackie Lacey or Bobby Grace confuses me as well.

Remember - like the Daily News says "Anybody But Carmen."

Carmen Trutanich could well become the new definition of the word 'Liar.' Face it, when you hear his name, what comes first to mind?

His lies about being the victim of an assassination attempt where he was 'surrounded and shot at by gangmembers' are believed to be the real cause of his recent media blackout. But when FOX 11 News gave the story a fresh lease of life, he sent John Shallman to try to defend his reputation (i.e. lie), by claiming that Trutanich's missing DA records would prove he was a hero, not a heel. You have to see this clip from one of Shallman's lies about the incident.

Also among the many truth distortions from Shallman is this lame explanation that Trutanich's accuser (me) is 'an opponent who ran against Carmen Trutanich.' We all know that to be a lie, I was his strongest supporter - before he turned into a lying career politician.

Let's hope Shallman's efforts pay off for him at the bank, and for Trutanich at the polls where everyone who knows Trutanich will be voting A.B.C.

David Berger, who hides behind the character name of Joe Friday, and then tries to don a disguise by dying his hair brown, calls Trutanich a liar? Is that the pot calling the kettle black, or what?

Old chinese saying, "Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

Berger is such a sanctimonious windbag at all our neighborhood homeowner meetings that our whole Board has voted for Trutanich just to let Berger know what we think of him.

If Phil were more known amongst the general population, I'm sure Carmen's opponents would be using it with glee in their attack ads.

This guy manages to stand out as a useless liar in a town run by useless liars.

Jerry Brown doesn't have an extra 5 minutes to waste playing around in local political contests.

Not only does it detract from the stature of the his office, but California's budgetary crisis needs all of the energy, time and political capital available to our Governor.

Then what can possibly explain Governor Brown's self-defeating association with Trutanich's run for L.A. County D.A.?

Sadly, one can infer that Governor Brown has been compromised.

He has been caught in behavior that causes severe damage to reputation and political viability if the voters find out.

They haven't found out because Brown is paying the bill for the rug to remain tacked down over the dirt.

Who owns the rug?

Who did Jerry Brown swear in 18 months ago for his 4th term in the Office of sheriff of L.A. County?
