Memorial Day Weekend getaway from the ravages of the Obama Economy
On one of my regular visits to the wonders of Anza-Borrego State Park, I chanced upon this roadside sanctuary from the ravages of the Obama Economy along Highway S-2 in Eastern San Diego County (about 5 miles east of Highway 79 and S-2 junction near Warner Springs/Lake Henshaw). ** BTW, Happy Birthday yesterday to the owner Ronnie.
With the cost of comfort foods, beer, gas, camping gear and other necessities for a fun Memorial Day Weekend up 29% over last year, thanks to the Obama Economy, a cold 16 oz. draft beer will only set you back $2.00 at the Log Cabin. Plus, if Obama gets four more years, A.A. may see big time growth in "Obamanomics Twelve-steppers".
Maybe my bloggin friend Joe B. can replicate a version of this sign for his next "Sheriff of Sunland-Tujunga Campaign"? BTW, wonder if the Maricopa County Sheriff ever hired a deputy based upon recommendations from his son like LA County's Sheriff Lee Baca?
This banner is in need of minor updating, but Harley-lovin Sarah Palin would surely love this establishment, which is popular with motorcyclists from all over. BTW, the Obama Economy's "currency of choice" Food Stamps will not suffice at the Log Cabin
Lastly, Ronnie has a reminder for those who do not exercise their right that thousands of our brave soldiers have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect.

OK, I'll say it because all the facts point to it. Bush's spending and economic policies screwed up our economy. It takes a long time to turn around a country's economy. The stock market has been on a good run for a while, the jobless rate is dropping, and it's scary to think of where we'd be now if we stuck with Bush economic approaches.

What happened to Palin in 2008 set back woman in politics at least 10 years. Yeah, women may be able to win some seats in congress, but not even HRC would be taken seriously in 2016!
And it's not just Palin the left have been attacking. Bachmann, Haley, Whitman, Fiorina and Angle all were victims of sexist assaults.

Fact is JoeB, Obama is a FAILURE. He is so much of a failure he makes Mayor Tony look good. He has proved to be full of it, he has reversed nothing from W, he has not cut spending, he ran up $3Trillion in deficit spending in 2 years, he has no explainable foreign policy, his health care bill is a joke (exemptions for donors), AND he has increased taxes on everybody, not just the rich. How? Obamacare isn't free.
And let's not forget, he has been off playing golf EVERY WEEKEND since became POTUS. Tornados, floods, oil spills, economic woes, troops over seas, yet he's off playing golf. W. got hell for playing golf ONCE was the Iraq war started and so he stopped. Obama has NEVER even been outed by the MSM on his Sunday golf outings.
Joe, be careful what you wish for. Liberals in 1979 were chuckling equally about Ronald Reagan and got surprised big time a year later. I'm not saying Palin is going to win, nor is she possibly the best candidate, but you can't underestimate her.
I remember lots of Republicans thought that if a liberal like Obama was nominated he'd be much easier to beat than Hillary.

Joe, like all Liberals, are THREATENED by Sarah Palin, because THEY always assumed THEY would be the first to put a woman in the White House, and they were SHOCKED to discover that between the coasts, Palin resonates with a LOT of Americans.
The Liberals were caught off guard that a CONSERVATIVE woman would have such great appeal to millions.
And I'm saying this as someone who is not a fan of Palin's. But I recognize how much she resonates with Americans.
To say that Palin's critics are sexists is truly ignorant, and amounts to nothing more than making excuses.
Clearly Palin was not prepared to run for VP. She constantly made embarassing mistakes out of her own ignorance.
Since then she's had lot of time to learn about America and come up with some solutions. But she has offered nothing. You can only get so far just criticizing the incumbent and then it's time to present your solutions. She doesn't have any.

Anything you want to know about Palin is embedded in her reaction to her daughter's new boyfriend. First a teenage pregnancy and now a Black boyfriend - that should really make the Tea baggers happy. I don't get how people can not respect women for their point of view, like it or not. Now Michele B. is running too and I don't see how they can put her down. I think people put down Sarah P. just because she talks differently than most people do. That doesn't mean she is not intelligent, just different. Democrats that say we should be accepting of others that are different than us are hypocrites because they do not do as they say.
When the late Geraldine F. (vice-president running mate) was on FoxNews she gave some really interesting info on how bad the system is for women and she agreed that republican or democrat women should not be put down. She did not like it that either party did that. What an eye opener! That she also took up for republican women as well as democrat ones.
She was a class act even if you don't agree with her politics. But since democrats don't watch FoxNews they miss out on some stuff that is really worth watching.

People don't put down Palin just because she talks funny. JFK, Clinton, Carter, LBJ, and Kissinger all talked funny.
Take whatever she says ... any time ... write it out and see if there's one ounce of intelligence in any small part of it.
She's good for funraising and drawing crowds, but that's where it ends. At the end of day she hasn't led anyone anywhere. Could you imagine her writing Profiles in Courage or putting together a Contract for America?
She doesn't even have the energy to collaborate with anyone to produce a list of solutions. The reason is that once you start proposing solutions you find that there aren't solutions that please everyone, and someone will criticize you.
I've spoken to a person who worked closely with her in the presidential campaign. She doesn't like and can't handle criticism.

I love Obama. I'm a strong woman who voted for Hillary. Sarah Palin is an embarrassment to the women of the US. Sorry. I agree with the last poster. I'm a woman and Palin was criticized for being a dumb Person period. She couldn't answer easy questions i.e. Katy Couric "What newspapers do you read?" and anyone who kills and shoots defenseless animals for fun has to have a warped mind like Palin. It had nothing to do with gender. She came off like a moron. The tell all book by one of her assistant will hurt her run. If she couldn't take care of her own family first, how in the heck could she run a country?
Palin is not a dum person. I have seen Obama says lots of dum things and so has many other people as well as presidents and even Al Sharpton. That does not mean a person is dum because for whatever reason they may not know one fact or are caught off guard on a question.
Let's give everyone some credit. You may even be day dreaming when asked a question and then you catch yourself and then it takes a second to come back to reality.
Bottom line: A missed question or a wrong one once in a while is not a big deal. These people are not dum. Let's give them all some credit. Let's debate of the issues.
