Even Fox News is Calling Wisconsin "Political Union Busting"

Never in my lifetime did I think Fox News would get a story right. Shockingly, it happened today.

Update: Rally to support workers in Wisconsin today at noon at southwest side of LA City Hall, on 1st Street, between Spring and Main Street - 12pm-3pm

Joe,

So you now watch Fox News Channel?

Welcome! It's safe in here. By the way, they also correctly predicted that Obama will lose badly in 2012.

Enjoy your stay here on the dark side!

I believe it's union busting, and I think that's a GREAT thing.

I don't think anyone believed it wasn't political.

It's political in California where the unions own many Democratic officials, along with some Republicans.

More people were unaware that Wisconsin's current budget would be unaffected by the provision to effectively end collective bargaining.

However, restraints on collective bargaining are important if there is to be a long-term fix of the budget. Concessions today could be gone in a few years.

That's been the problem in CA and many states. The unions have their way on negotiations and we get stuck with the bill.

Public employees are protected by civil service; they don't need unions....and we can't afford them.

Joe,

You are so annoying. Oh boy...Joe made a slam on Fox News. You never thought they'd get something right? Must we be subjected to your opinion on cable news channels among everything else you super pundit?

Paul, I think you're coming around little by little. A few days ago you were all over ending collective bargaining, now you are calling for "restraints'. We're making progress!

Joe,

Do you believe in the phrase, "You can't fool all of the people all of the time?"

Well, Fox News is BY FAR the best-rated channel of ANY sort, news or otherwise.

If, as you say, they're liars, they how do you explain a decade of dominant ratings, especially O'Reilly who has the top ratings of any show on any cable channel.

Instead of denouncing this claim as false, check the ratings first.

If you say O'Reilly doesn't have the #1 show on cable, then tell us who does?

Hate to tell you this, Joe, but union busting isn't illegal.

In fact, based on the outcome of Wisconsin, where the PUSSY DEMOCRATS RAN AWAY, you'll see that state after state are going to do this.

If it is illegal, why are so many states doing/going to do this?

Union busting will cure the economy. And ironically, it will cost Obama 2012. Right now, he couldn't even beat Palin.

Joe B,

If Obama is so progressive, how come he doesn't legalize gay marriage?

On a related note, he just appointed the first openly gay social secretary in the White House.

So, why does he maintain that marriage is only between a man and a woman? If he said that the Defense of Marriage Act is un-Constitutional, why doesn't he do something about it? http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-pn-social-secretary-20110226,0,4678431.story

He really wedged himself into a bad spot, alienating the far left.

You can't equate quality and accuracy with ratings. You'd be astonished at how many people get their news primarily from the Daily Show. At Fox it's all about being loud, outrageous, and alarming.

On Friday's "Morning Joe," Joe Scarborough said Glenn Beck has gone "out of control" and is "bad for the conservative movement."

Scarborough started by playing a clip of a particularly agitated and angry Beck. He was not happy with what he saw.

"I've been telling conservatives for about two years, this guy is bad for the movement," Scarborough said. "This guy is losing it before our eyes. He's bad for the conservative movement. He's bad for the Republican Party. He's bad for Fox News...even guys over at Fox News have to start thinking, this can't last. He's out of control."

Scarborough then read a blog post by conservative commentator Peter Wehner. "Glenn Beck has become the most disturbing personality on cable television," Wehner wrote. Scarborough clearly seemed to agree with that assessment.

Hey Joe.....wonder why your messiah Obama hasn't come out and joined his union bro's in Wisc.?
Seems Obama has shut up about the unions in Wisc. Seems that federal workers do not have collective bargaining when it comes to wages and benefits. They used to have until Jimma Kotter got it outlawed. Good ole Democrat Jimma. He did do one thing right. Good ole Zero....another foot in his mouth!

I'm confused. Didnt the unions here in LA endorse the incumbents for re election. So now those same incumbents are siding with the people in Wisconsin, is that right? I saw councilman Huizar speaking on tv with SEIU but which side are they on? confusing
